[00:00:00] Speaker 1: If I were to start over as a creator today, this is what I'd do different. First of all, I'd stop obsessing over gear. When it comes to social media content, gear does not matter. Content does. I'd use my phone way more often than I did and put more energy into what I'm actually saying, not what camera I'm using. Second, I'd make consistency sustainable. One of my biggest hurdles as a creator has been burnout. I wouldn't pressure myself to post every single day. I'd post like two or three times a week and actually stick to it. And then eventually I'd increase posting as I've mastered my workflow. And third, I would simplify everything. I'd make content that's easy to produce, easy to repeat and easy to show up for because social media is all about easy wins. I've had content that I've spent weeks on get absolutely no views and then content that I spent 10 minutes on go viral. But I want to be clear, none of this is about shortcuts because as much as I want content creation to be easy, it's not. It's more about removing the friction that makes you as the creator stop showing up because the creators that win on social media aren't the most talented. Although there's a lot of really talented people on here. They're the ones who keep showing up even when it gets hard.

Arow Key Takeaways
  • Prioritize what you’re saying over what you’re shooting on; a phone is often enough.
  • Choose a sustainable posting schedule (e.g., 2–3 times per week) to prevent burnout and maintain consistency.
  • Simplify production with repeatable, low-friction formats that are easy to execute regularly.
  • Time spent doesn’t guarantee performance; quick posts can outperform polished projects.
  • Success on social media often favors persistence and consistency over raw talent.
Arow Sentiments
Positive: Encouraging and pragmatic tone focused on motivation, reducing burnout, and emphasizing controllable actions (message, workflow, repetition) over perfectionism (gear).
