+1 (831) 222-8398[00:00:00] Speaker 1: 4K versus 1080p. Does it really matter? 4K does look a lot better. It also means huge file sizes, so there are some trade-offs. But if you want the flexibility of cropping in without your image falling apart, or if you make screen recordings or product demos where you want to zoom way in without losing sharpness or vibrancy, then 4K is worth the headaches and extra storage space. Anything else, you can probably get away with 1080p. And here's a little good news. In Descript, you can now import files from your other projects. So just pull in files you've already used and save yourself from re-uploading and re-transcribing hours of footage, 4K or 1080p. So go forth, shoot in 4K when it matters, and 1080p when you can't swing it. And also don't shoot in 720p. We can do better than 720p.
