[00:00:00] Speaker 1: Hey everyone, this is Margarita from HappyScribe, and today I'm going to talk a little bit about TikTok's most recent launched feature, Auto Captions, as well as how you can easily get Auto Captions outside of the TikTok app if you still haven't gotten this feature. In early April of 2021, TikTok finally introduced Auto Captions, which allows creators to have text automatically transcribed and displayed after they've recorded or uploaded their content. This is a very important feature because it allows everyone to enjoy videos on TikTok regardless of their hearing ability or how unclear the main voice may be due to background noise. This feature also means you don't have to manually type down every word being said and timing them correctly, which can be annoying to say the least. But unfortunately, with all this being said, this feature has yet to reach all of TikTok users, meaning some people may not have this yet or won't have it for a while. Do not fret though, because I will now show you how you can add captions automatically to any video slash TikToks. So you're done filming or editing your video and all that is left to do is to add your captions so anyone and everyone can enjoy your content. On your desktop browser, you're going to head over to HappyScribe.com. Then you're going to either click on Get Started or log in if you already have an account set up. If you don't have one though, you can very easily create one which would only take a couple seconds to make. Once you've entered and see into your HappyScribe My Dashboard, select Upload a New File here, then Subtitles. You're going to want to make sure that your video's audio is of decent quality to have the best outcome possible on your subtitles. You can import your video file straight from your device or other places such as from a public link or even from your own YouTube channel. I have exported the TikTok I want to caption onto my device, so I'm just going to drag and drop. Select the language being spoken in. The video I have is in English. United Kingdom edition. All these things chips instead of crispy, crunchy, munchy, cracker jack snack and nibbler snack. The default service will be machine generated, which means I shall automatically receive my subtitles within minutes. If I had a lengthier, more complicated video though, such as let's say an hour-long commentary about the Loki series, I'd choose Human Made for a more accurate service. When your file says completed, click on Submit. And depending on how long your video is, the processing should only take a couple minutes. When the status says done, open it up and voila, your auto-captioned video. Go ahead and play back, go through your video and look for any minor mistakes. You're also able to customize how you'd like your captions to look like. If you'd like to add an outline, change the color of your font or move around your captions to where you want them to be displayed at, you can do that. Once you're fully done correcting and customizing your captions, you're ready to download. Now in this case, I'm going to download the entire captioned video. And that, ladies and gents, is how you automatically add captions to your videos and TikToks by using HappyScribe. If you found this video to be useful, please give it a big thumbs up. And if you have any questions, you can leave them on the comments down below and consider subscribing for more helpful content like this.
