[00:00:00] Speaker 1: If you've ever had to pull data from one sheet into another and line the two up on some shared column, you know how frustrating. You copy, you paste, you fight with a formula, and then you do it again. Today, I want to walk you through a real customer project instead. The data is simulated, but the workflow is exactly what happened, including how the built-in AI handles errors. So we've got two sheets. The first is the employee sheet, the full roster of 68 people. The second is the device sheet, which has the same employee ID column, but only 43 rows. So I'll stay on the device sheet and type what I want into the AI panel. Add the employee IDs missing from the sheet compared with the employee sheet. The AI reads the employee sheet first, then the device sheet, pulling every ID out of both. Then it lines the two up and tells me what it found. 25 people are on the roster, but not in the device sheet. Then it adds them in. 25 new rows at the bottom, but only the ID column. The names are still empty, so I'll run it again for those. So here's the next request. Fill in the missing employee names using a formula based on the employee sheet. It checks how the employee sheet is laid out, then writes a lookup down the column. But something's off, because every row in the name column comes back as an error. Normally, this is where I'd go through it cell by cell or Google the error. Instead, let's tell the AI what I'm seeing and see what it does. So it inspects the formula and checks the ID column in both sheets. And there's the reason. The two IDs look identical, but one is text and the other is a number, so the lookup never matched. So it rewrites the formula to force both sides into the same format, runs it again, and all 25 names come through. So that's the whole thing. Start to finish, just me talking to the AI. Syncing one sheet into another is normally slow manual work, and I did it without copying or pasting anything. And even when an error occurred, I just told the AI what I was seeing, and it found the problem and fixed it. With ZoomSheets, you don't have to be an expert and you don't have to know the formulas. You just have to simply describe what you need in plain language.

Arow Summary
The speaker demonstrates a simulated customer workflow in ZoomSheets for syncing an employee roster with a device sheet. The employee sheet contains 68 people, while the device sheet has 43 entries. Using natural-language requests, the AI identifies 25 employee IDs missing from the device sheet and appends rows for them. A subsequent request to fill in names with a lookup formula initially fails because IDs are stored as text in one sheet and numbers in the other. After the speaker reports the errors, the AI diagnoses the type mismatch, rewrites the formula to normalize formats, and successfully fills all 25 names. The message is that users can perform spreadsheet reconciliation and error correction without knowing formulas or manually copying data.

Arow Key Takeaways
  • AI can compare shared identifiers across sheets and add records missing from a target sheet.
  • In the example, 25 IDs are added to reconcile a 43-row device sheet with a 68-person employee roster.
  • Lookup failures can result when visually identical IDs use different data types, such as text in one sheet and numbers in another.
  • The AI diagnoses the type mismatch and updates the lookup formula to standardize formats, allowing all missing names to populate.
  • Users can describe spreadsheet goals and observed errors in plain language instead of manually copying data or writing formulas.
Arow Sentiments
Positive: The tone is confident, instructional, and promotional. It emphasizes reduced manual effort, successful AI-assisted troubleshooting, and accessibility for non-expert spreadsheet users.
