Build Accurate Speech Apps With OpenRouter and AssemblyAI (Full Transcript)

[00:00:00] Speaker 1: Hey, as a developer, you find 500 plus models on OpenRouter. Now, Universal 3.5 Pro from Assembly AI is one of them. To give you all some context, the biggest advantage of OpenRouter is now with one API key, account plus billing, Assembly AI models, and your existing models like OpenAI Cloud, you could have all of them in OpenRouter in one billing, one API key. So now, all you need to do is you just choose the model as Assembly AI Universal 3.5 Pro with the API key you've already chosen from OpenRouter, and then you can give this information to your Cloud. So for example, all I did was gave Cloud my OpenRouter key plus this endpoint, and it figured out, built me this app called Scribe. Now, with this app built on top of OpenRouter's API key with Assembly AI's Sync API model, you could actually give some key terms in context from such as, David with double A, or triple A, and then you could give Priya with double E, or you could give a name like Ashworth, which most models, when you use speech-to-text, they say Ashworth. So all these spellings are dependent on your context, and now, when you record the audio, David told me he's unavailable, Priya told me she's available, and Ashworth is available as well, and then I'm just making a video. You hit Stop, and using the OpenRouter key, you hit Transcribe, and you will see the spellings of David, Priya with double E, Ashworth, it's all transcribed so accurately. Not just that, with OpenRouter's LLM gateway, you can use this text audio route to any model with 500 plus models on OpenRouter, and you can build cool projects seamlessly.
