[00:00:00] Speaker 1: We are backstage with Wes Gordon at his Carolina Herrera Fall 2026 show.

[00:00:08] Speaker 2: We have to fix your strap though, my dear.

[00:00:10] Speaker 1: Tell us a little bit about the inspiration for this show, the connection to the art world and to these women who you have these wonderful relationships with.

[00:00:18] Speaker 2: This collection is a celebration of women in the arts and how they express themselves and their creative spirits through the way they dress. You know, it's really about creating characters for me this season. You can see they even have different makeup looks. Everything was individualized to each woman because it's really about the woman and this uniqueness. This look I love because it's all knitwear. So this is actually a knit jacquard and tarja in this leopard print and then this is a compression knit in viscose and silk in the same print on a smaller scale and then I paired it with these jacquard shoes. You know, it's a mixture of references this season. There are some kind of capote coat basque moments. Yes. There are some very 90s moments of pencil skirts and slingbacks and turtlenecks. But she's a New York woman through and through and she's a woman on the go.

[00:01:06] Speaker 1: You can wear this on the subway.

Gordon highlights a knit-heavy leopard look combining knit jacquard, a viscose-silk compression knit at a smaller scale, and matching jacquard shoes.
