Speaker 1: Let's check out the Chad GPT pro plan and see if it's even worth $200 a month. The purpose of today's video is finding out who the heck is a target audience for the Chad GPT pro plan. As the previous video I did on this topic earlier this week, all I saw in the comments was like 90% like who the heck's going to pay that price. And you want to know who's going to pay that price. That's going to be me. Okay. Cause I got to make this video. So I'm paying the 200 let's do it. So right off the bat, the perks of the pro plan or unlimited access to 01, 01 mini GPT 4.0, unlimited access to advanced voice mode. And then finally access to 01 pro mode, which is probably going to be the primary focus on the videos you're going to see from my channel from here on out, or I mean for the next couple of days, in the sense of let's just see if this is any good. One interesting that I'm seeing though on the internet, on the interwebs is if Sora does get released to the public, it probably will be added to the pro plan rather than the plus plan for obvious reasons, as there is huge demand behind that. And I can see people choosing a pro plan purely just for Sora. Get pro I have officially purchased a pro plan. Let's see if it's good. Coming over to our model here, you'll notice we have new access to 01 pro as I've stated before though, now with the 01 model and the 01 mini model, I can talk to them unlimited. Therefore the first reason you may lean towards this plan is that if you really heavily use chat GPT, and you do find that as a barrier of entry to getting more work done throughout an entire month, that could be an advantage, but the real thing and the why everyone clicked on this video is let's see this 01 pro mode. Let's see if it's pro. Okay. Or are we in the amateur leagues? So first off, let's see how it interacts with prompts. As we know with four Oh and the four model, it's very much just like output, output, output with the Oh one Oh one mini. There's a little bit more thinking that goes on. Let's see how it interacts with prompts. Surprise me. Enter. There we go. That's the first major difference I'm noticing in the UI here. We get like a loading bar. So this is like next level here in the sense of rather than it thinking we get a nice little UI here, loading up to the final output of surprise me. That's actually pretty cool. I kind of liked that. It does seem like it's going to take some time here. Okay, there we go. It even gives me the output here. 46 seconds. Interesting. When it did surprise me though, it went ahead and referenced my custom instructions. That's why it's talking about a react based front end and basically Jarvis type of conversation. Iron man Jarvis. So let me go ahead and turn off custom instructions. So that's the first thing to note when using Oh one pro mode, it's going to heavily reference your custom instructions when maybe a good thing, or maybe a bad thing. If you don't even know what custom instructions are, basically go to your profile. It's that right there. I personally like using it as it really fine tunes the chat. Now, let me go in and confirm real quick that Oh one pro mode is the only one of that little loading bar as this might just be an overall update. So I'll do Oh one real quick. I'm going to try and make a plan to get a promotion. Okay. So this is a very specific UI element, UI user interface or how we visually see it thinking specific to pro mode. Cause as you can see here with Oh one, it just outputs. Therefore now that we know how it interacts with prompts, let's give it some prompts and see what the heck happens as advertised by the pro mode here. We're not asking like very simple questions. Like what's the weather was two plus two. Rather let's just push it to the limits. We're going to say code out an entire react based application for Firebase Python backend. I want all relevant code files. I want the purpose of these application is to search using Reddit's API, find a training form, and then make a Twitter post about it or X. Don't worry. This video isn't just going to be coding prompts. We'll do some writing prompts in their social media, et cetera. Now for me paying $200 a month, I'm expecting very extensive output here. I want to see multiple files for me to be satisfied here. We're going to get better UI here for the detail section. Notice how we're getting a nice little summary up there, but then all the way to our right, we're seeing exactly what it's doing. Here we go. We got our first output, 57 seconds. So giving me context on my prompt, obviously react front end, Firebase backend giving me an overarching structure of our project, giving me simple stuff such as the package of Jason index, giving me the component for the Reddit trends is going through the process of finding the ENV. Okay. It has good practices, obviously. Like these are good practices that you maybe you would not otherwise see within the 4.0 model, such as having an ENV for high risk security variables, API keys, got our backend here. So up to this point, I'm not thoroughly impressed with this output. This could have been done with 0.1, but I'm going to give it another chance here. What I'm gonna do is I'm gonna really structure this prompt to basically give it no ceiling in the sense of deliverables on the amount of files. Therefore, let's try this. Okay, nice. Make this a full on application. I want a payment with Stripe. I want a TOS and privacy policy. I want the homepage. I want the contact page. I want off with Firebase and using all its abilities. I want a about me page. You come up with all variables needed. This is going to be my version of a gut check here, at least in the context of coding. Let's hit enter. So this response took around a minute, 45 seconds. I'm not sure if there's a ceiling to that when it comes to the 0.1 pro mode. I'm actually assuming there isn't. I think the whole purpose of this is really putting in meaty prompts and expecting to just let it work so far. So good here. We have the overall project structuring, but the first major thing I'm noticing is that it's only adding files that I specifically requested. This is a double edged sword. This is good in the sense of that. It's actually following my directions in the sense of creating the files requested, but I wanted some creativity here where it would add files that it would assume to be in a full blown application, which is fine. That just comes down to prompting. And to be honest with you, I'd rather it listened to me than be too creative. Here we go. If the app.gs for the front end so far, really good in the sense of navigation and actually referencing the files from an import. This is actually good structuring here. I see, but the actual pages themselves are just no good in the sense of the homepage is just a couple of blocks of text. Same with the about therefore in theory, though, that's not an issue because you could just keep prompting for the homepage and build out the entire homepage, but on a full one shot prompt in the sense of you put one prompt in and get a full blown application. We're not there yet. Consensus for coding here though. I would say it's not there yet for $200. Maybe if this was 50, but in reality, the $20 is going to get you where you want to get when it comes to coding and using the O1 mini and just the O1. Let's try another example here, but instead do writing. Let's do some copywriting and see how well it performs in this context. So let's go and try this. Okay, let's make a book. Give me an outline, an entire book, and also write the entire first chapter. The book will be why change GBT changed the economy. You are the writer. I allow full creativity here. If you want to add more past my directions, go ahead. I'm adding that last part there cause I want to see if it does have the ability to do some creativity past just what I'm requesting. Hit enter. This output took around a minute and seven seconds. We're getting an entire structuring from chapter one to chapter 12 and then we got our entire first chapter here. See how long it is. Decently sized. I mean, we're looking at realistically maybe five pages on a real book. Obviously if you extend it out and then add some graphics, let's read the first paragraph here as this is the most advanced model currently on the market. In the years before Chad, GPT entered in public consciousness, the world's economy hummed along with a familiar rhythm. Productivity rose at a slow but steady pace corporation strategizing conference rooms, full of seasoned executives, as well as fresh faced analysts, clutching thick binders of market reports. Consultants spent countless late nights, synergizing spreadsheets and slide decks. Now this first paragraph is not amazing. It's not horrible. Like we're not talking about a 3.5 level output here. To be fair in the underlying prompt, I didn't give it more context of how to write. For example, I could have asked it to write like a certain author or use certain terminology, you know, everything above the board in that way. Saying all of that though, let me give you my consensus on a one pro. Three major things. First thing, this doesn't seem like the type of model that is going to be like the day to day model. Eg you wake up, you go to Chad, GPT.com, you have it in a separate tab and you're talking to it. And the reason why is that the outputs take a long time. If we're using something like 4.0 or 0.1 mini is probably more in line of what you want. And that's part of the $20 plan. But that leads me to situation two here where I do see a one pro mode having the potential to actually be worth its price. I think you shouldn't be using this model from the perspective of ground zero when building towards stuff, for example, writing a book or coding out an entire new software. This doesn't really fit that use case where I can see this shine though, is that you're already halfway through the book or you already built out that software. This could definitely shine in just building out either more features for your software or writing more chapters for your book with all that additional context. This seems specific though, to issues you run into and like a last resort when it comes to models to use, like the hierarchy should be used 401 first, then 01 mini, then 01. And if all those fail, you go to pro mode, which then leads me to the third thing here, the $200. Is it worth $200 at its current state for most people? I would probably say no, but there is one very specific use case where I could see this has extreme value. And I may or may not do a video on this because to be honest with you, I'm probably going to do it like by myself. Like I'm actually going to use this model to do this. And that is using 01 pro mode to code out algo trading bots for the stock market. This could a hundred percent do it. And this is the type of model that we need to have to make algo trading bots at the level that you would want when trading equity. Therefore I may make a video on that. I may not, but I do see the value there of spending $200 down payment for the most advanced model available in the market to build out an algo trading bot. And then that algo trading bot would obviously compensate for the 200 USD you burned on that month. Make sure to leave a like as it's completely free. I'll be doing more videos on the 01 pro mode to see if it's any good. And let me know in the comments down below what you want me to see and test with the 01 pro to see if it's any good. And I'll see you in the next video. Chad, GBT pro two random videos. That's my face. I'll see you in the next video.
