Claude Connectors for Academic Research Workflows (Full Transcript)

[00:00:00] Speaker 1: Hey, I want to show you the stack I use inside Claude that you can copy and use, and it's going to massively up your academic research game with AI. So the first thing you need to do is go into Claude and go to Customize, and then go into Connectors. And this is going to give you a range of helpful things that you can connect. So let me go through some of the first most important ones. Consensus. This is going to give Claude eyes into academic literature, not just Google Scholar, but Consensus is now brokered agreements with a lot of publishers like Wiley to get full text access. So this is huge. We've also got PubMed. This is also going to give you input if you're doing anything health related. This is fantastic. Also on health related, let me scroll back up. Clinical trials, bio archive. These are increasingly coming out. I use Canva a lot for presentations, academic presentations. So bringing Claude into contact with Canva is fantastic. I use it also for my Gmail and my emails. It can help me load up drafts. It can help me sift through, synthesize my email. Google Drive, of course, to draw on your data on the go. Google Calendar. I use Zoom for scheduling. I use Todoist to keep track of my to-do apps. I also love whiteboards as places to brainstorm, share ideas with colleagues that are better. I find a lot of researchers I work with are visual, and having these visual whiteboards synced up to Claude is just fantastic for designing conceptual ideas and figures on the go.
