[00:00:00] Speaker 1: In this video, we'll walk through how to manage concurrency for your Zoom events and Zoom Webinars Plus unlimited licenses. Before we click through anything, here's the core concept. Concurrency allows multiple events to run at the same time on different hubs in your account. The total number of unlimited licenses on your account equals the maximum number of events that can run at the same time. So, if your account has three unlimited licenses, up to three events can be live simultaneously across your hubs. As an account admin, you control how this works. Let's get started. Sign in to Zoom Events as an admin. Under Account, click Concurrency Management. This is your central view for all concurrency settings and licensing status across your hubs. Now, as the admin, you choose how these licenses are made available to hubs. There are two modes for that. Mode 1 is a shared pool. All of your unlimited licenses go into one shared pool. Every hub draws from it automatically. This is the default setting, no additional setup required. This setting allows any hub in your organization to host as many events as you have licenses on a first-come, first-served basis. There's no reservation system, no priority. Generally, this setting is better for organizations with lower volumes of licenses, as it can lead to event scheduling conflicts. Here's what this mode looks like for event hosts scheduling their event. As they schedule an event, the default capacity is set by the license that is assigned to them. However, when they create their event, they can increase their event capacity. This event will then occupy a higher-capacity license during this event time. This is automatic and chooses the higher-capacity license that is closest to the event capacity requested. One example of potential conflict would be if another user goes to schedule a higher-capacity event later, and there are no available high-capacity licenses available at the time they wish to use it. This is the shared pool concurrency mode. Now let's look at mode 2, assigned licenses. With this mode, by default, all hubs will be limited to hosting a single event at a single time, based on the license you assign the user. However, admins can manually assign additional licenses to specific hubs. These hubs can now host concurrent events equal to the licenses you have assigned to them. There's a table showing all of the hubs on your account and their current license assignments. To assign an additional license, select the hub and assign the appropriate quantity of licenses to the hub. Repeat this for any hub that needs concurrency enabled. For event hosts, they can now schedule additional events on their hub. If they attempt to schedule events beyond their concurrency or capacity assignments, they will receive a conflict message in the event creator. Finally, at any time, admins, hub owners, and hosts can view their hub event capacity and concurrency rules under plan details. For example, this hub can host up to 6 concurrent events, all with the same capacity. So how do you want to use concurrency? Maybe you want to share all the licenses in a single pool and let the system select the licenses automatically. Or, maybe you prefer to have full control over each license and reduce any chances of event conflicts. At the end of the day, it's up to you.
