Thank you for your attention to this matter, period. New paragraph, sincerely, comma, worker, period. Now, looking through these, let's try to see how many mistakes each has made. Okay, we're done. I have corrected the two transcriptions. Now, the right computer is running with a, just a simple USB microphone headset made by Logitech, and the left computer that you see is using a Dragon microphone, Nuance. This is a version two of the PowerMic. So, looking at these, I was kind of surprised because in the first set, there were 262 words in this sample, eight mistakes for 96% errors. Now, you see paragraph is in red there, but I forgot to dictate that, so I didn't count that as an error. Now, the other one, that one was only one mistake, 99.2%, one error. One thing that I thought was remarkable was that I could not believe the difference in what 97% and 99% look like. Now, if I was having to correct this, wow, I'd much rather correct the one on the right, which is Dragon 16. That is way better. It takes a lot of time to make corrections, and if you have been dictating to your computer for a long time like I have, I've been doing this since this technology was very rudimentary, probably 1996, and the problem with any errors at all is that nothing is ever misspelled, so it's very easy to overlook mistakes, and if you overlook a mistake, you risk looking like a buffoon when you reread your letter or someone else reads it because you don't see a mistake that can actually sometimes be embarrassing. So, you may think, well, 99% or 97% is not that much difference, but when you look at the difference between these two, wow, that 3%, just about, I think that makes a lot of difference. So, at any rate, I hope this helps illustrate the difference I have found by upgrading to Dragon Professional 16 instead of Dragon Professional 15. I think I was at 15.63, I think was the actual version number. I have to say that in my case, it's totally worth it because I am going to miss less errors when I proofread. I have never seen a side-by-side comparison that's exactly like this. It's not perfect. If it was a perfect comparison, I'd have the same microphone and the same exact computers. I just can't do that. This is the best I could do, but I still think it shows a remarkable improvement in these two. I hope this helps you out. I looked for something like this. I couldn't find any comparison involving the new Dragon Professional 16. You may know now that the Dragon Home Edition has been discontinued after version 15, so you got to really fork it out if you want the professional version. It's like 600 compared to what used to be 200. So, at any rate, I use it every day when I work, and for me, it's worth it. Hope this helps you out. Thanks. Bye.
