Speaker 1: Okay, welcome to a brief training on the modification price proposal template for services. The page I have displayed on my screen right now is the contract requirements and modification guidance page on gsa.gov. The way you can get to this page is by going to gsa.gov slash MAS contract requirements. If you scroll down on this page, you will find the modification guidance as well as the modification price proposal template under the modifications and MAS modifications guidance section. And if you scroll down, you'll see the templates here. So when we open up the modification price proposal template for services and training, the first thing that you'll see is the instructions. The instructions outline what you need to do in order to fill out this template appropriately. So one of the things that you'll notice is that there are tabs A, tabs B, and EPA tabs throughout this template. The tab A's are meant to capture the entire universe of offerings as well as any items that you're looking to change via modification. So it should have everything upon your contract and the items that you're looking to change. A couple of things to note are if you are a non-TDR contractor and your basis of award customer is not the same as your most favorite customer, you will need to change the heading to match that fact. Also, if you have more than 100,000 lines, you may need to split your price proposal template in order to not exceed the maximum file capacity of eMOD. And if you are a TDR contractor, you do not need to fill out the most favorite customer columns that are located throughout the tab. So you've got your tab A, which is your universe of offerings, which you also have tab B, which is your changes. So this should be only the items that are changing, either adding or deleting or if there's a change to part number or, sorry, a description of a service, that's where those types of changes will be found. There's also the EPA tab that is located in here, and that is the tab that you'll use for any price increases or decreases. And make sure if you're filling out the EPA tab that you're still filling out the tab A as well, with the universe of offerings as well as the new pricing for the items that you are looking to do, either EPA increase or decrease. Also, on this tab, as you scroll down, you'll find additional instructions related to filling out the template, so definitely recommend reviewing those carefully and making sure that you understand all of the items that are being asked for. So first, we'll talk about the services price proposal template and the services pricing tab. So on the first tab, you'll see that there is a column A. Other than this column A, this price proposal template is essentially the same as the offer template. This column A is where you'll enter in whether or not the item was on contract at time of award, whether it's a modification to an item or what the modification number is for the last time that item was changed, if it's a new item, or if it's an item that's being changed. Again, the tab A is meant to capture all of the items on the contract as well as any items that are being changed as a result of needing a modification. So again, tab A is the entire universe of offerings. So you'll enter in all of the information for the different services on the contract, and then we've got some formulas built in over here for the pricing. So the first row of formulas is where you will have the price calculated based on the discount being entered, and then the second row of formulas shows the price and then calculates the discount being offered. So we've got our tab A and then our tab B, which would be any newer change item. So again, this is the tab that you will use for any of those changes that aren't related to pricing increases or decreases. And again, you can scroll over, put in all the information for the items that are changing, and this is just the items that are changing on tab B. The next tab is the EPA tab for services. So this tab is essentially the same as the other two tabs, but we do have some side-by-side comparisons here where we have comparisons of the current commercial price to the new commercial price as well as the percentage change, the current MFC price as well as the new commercial MFC price as well as the percentage change, and then the comparison between the current and new GSA pricing. Again, the formula in the first row here, in row two, is calculating the final pricing, whereas the calculations in the rows, in row three, are calculating the discount. So if we go to the next tab, we've got the sixth escalation for services tab. We have our tab A here, which would include all of the items that are awarded on the contract as well as the items that you're looking to change with your modification request. Your tab B would be just the items that you're looking to change. We have the courses and training tabs. We have a tab A, a tab B, as well as an EPA tab there as well. Again, the tab A is the entire universe of offerings. The tab B would be just the items looking to be changed, and then there's the EPA tab, which again has that side-by-side comparison of the commercial price, the MFC price, as well as the pricing offered to GSA. There's also tab A, tab B, and EPA tab for language services. And if we scroll over, you can see the information that's required there. The tab A, again, is the universe of offerings plus any items that you're looking to modify. The tab B is just the items that you're looking to modify. The EPA tab is used for pricing changes, either increases or decreases, and has that side-by-side comparison of the commercial price, the MFC price, as well as the GSA price offered. There's also language services for other. Again, there is a tab A, a tab B, and an EPA tab for this group of templates as well. So the tab A, again, is the universe of offerings. As you scroll over, there's information about what's included on that tab. Your tab B is just the items that are changing, either new or changing items. Again, if you're doing price changes, you would use the EPA tab. And the EPA tab for language services other, again, has that side-by-side comparison of the commercial price, the MFC price, as well as the price offered to GSA. And last but not least, we have the SIN 541810ODC. There is a tab A and a tab B for the SINs tab. So the tab A, again, would include all of the items in the universe of a contractor's offerings, as well as the items that the contractor is looking to change. And then tab B would just be the items the contractor is looking to change. So with that, that concludes our overview of the services and training price approval template.
