+1 (831) 222-8398Speaker 1: This lesson demonstrates how to do transcription. Many transcriptionists prefer to use software like Listen&Write which is what we will use here. Listen&Write has unique transcription features that allow you to upload and transcribe and edit your transcript on the same platform. So here is how you transcribe from scratch using the Listen&Write audio player software. The first step is to open your transcription software. In this case, we are using Listen&Write. Upload the audio file you want to transcribe as shown here. Now adjust the playback speed to a level you are comfortable with like I'm doing here. Begin the transcription process by giving your transcript a title or heading.
Speaker 2: Play the audio file from the beginning and type what you hear while labeling the speakers.
Speaker 3: That's it. To start the transcription process you will need to be familiar with a saxophone.
Speaker 4: Mother, do you ever use Afrikaans still with your mother? South Africa, and you can speak fluent Afrikaans, and you speak Afrikaans still with your mother.
Speaker 3: Do you ever use speaking in Afrikaans to speak behind people's back? Do you ever use speaking in Afrikaans to speak behind people's back? What are you talking about? What do you think? Well, I would do it all the time. All the time. If I... If I... If... If I... My mom or a friend. Yes. I would... I would constantly be going, God, look at his shoe. Look at his... Look at his... Look at his... His shoes It isn't It isn't It isn't It coc It isn't
Speaker 5: And the And the And the good thing about
Speaker 6: And the good thing about Afrikaans is, like, like, 3% of Afrikaans, like, 3% of Afrikaans
Speaker 5: 3% of the world's population speaks Afrikaans. Yeah. So you have a pretty good shot.
Speaker 3: You grew up in South Africa, and you can speak fluent Afrikaans. You grew up in South Africa, and you can speak fluent Afrikaans.
Speaker 1: You grew up in South Africa, and you can speak fluent Afrikaans.
Speaker 3: You can speak fluent Afrikaans, and you speak Afrikaans still with your mother. Do you ever use speaking in Afrikaans to speak behind people's backs to sort of say things about them? Do you ever use speaking in Afrikaans to sort of say things about them? Do you ever use speaking in Afrikaans to sort of say things about them? So that they don't know what you're talking about. You're talking about. What do you use, like? Well, I would do. I would do it all the time. If I had it.
Speaker 2: Good.
Speaker 1: Always remember to save your work. Choose your file name, storage location, and preferred file format. Keep saving after every few minutes so as not to lose your work.
Speaker 3: Yes, don't ever lo onun't overdo.
Speaker 1: Now after transcribing the entire file, you can. gamers & games, games, practically anything. edit the transcript on Listen&Write or use MS Word. Now, make the necessary edits and format the transcript to your liking or according to the client's or company's instructions.
