Speaker 1: Hey, y'all. It's Zach, the legal tech advisor here at Lawyerist. Today, I'd like to show you a little bit about ZolaSuite. Now, ZolaSuite is an all-in-one law practice management system. It is a true all-in-one. It has a CRM built in, as you can see. It has internal accounting. And when I say internal accounting, it has your business accounting built in. So you're going to take care of your own outgoing bills, as well as any invoices that you'd create for your clients. So basically, anything that you need to do for your firm should be able to be accomplished in ZolaSuite. Now, that means that it is not necessarily something that solos will really benefit from, because it is kind of a heavy hitter. It is more expensive than a lot of those platforms that solos seem to benefit from. And this is something that is built really for firms. And you'll see that the things that set ZolaSuite apart are the things that are kind of geared specifically towards firms. So let's look at that a little bit. And one of the things, there are a lot of things in ZolaSuite that are helpful, but

Speaker 2: they do a lot of great reporting. So let's show you, as we set up a matter, we're able

Speaker 1: to select an originating attorney. And this is important because we're able to track what systems or what clients the attorneys have brought in. And you can see in the advanced origination options here that we can also determine the split, the payout, and we can get multiple originators for these. So we can get some complex systems set up to compensate people. And that is necessary a lot of times in some of our non-solo firms. So along those same lines, one of the things that sets ZolaSuite apart is their ability to do pretty heavy reporting. So if we go into, right now we're in the accounting area, and this is kind of typical accounting that you can do for your firm. But again, all of the accounting is internal to this system. So you don't have to go outside. You don't have to go into QuickBooks or something like that. So all of your numbers are tracked within here, which gives it the ability to do a lot more advanced reports. Now these reports are built in, but there are a lot of them. And as you can see, we've got some client reports, compensation reports, again, the originating attorney, the split compensation, fee allocation, things of that nature that are necessary when you have a lot of attorneys working together and you're trying to figure out who is making the firm some money. I do like these productivity reports. This is something that a lot of firms aren't able to keep track of just because they don't necessarily know how or don't have all of the productivity information within the system. This is, again, one of the benefits of being a true all-in-one. Your time is kept track of inside of this, your tasks, all of your accounting. So you're able to get this information without having to set up some sort of complex zap or integration. And then we've got your accounting reports that you would need as a firm. So these are the types of reports that you would likely run within QuickBooks if you were doing your accounting there. We've got your general ledger, obviously, the profit and loss. You can also do a profit and loss by location. This is new because they're contemplating that there are multiple cities or multiple offices that you have an office in. Again, this is not for solos specifically. We're talking kind of medium-sized firms is really the sweet spot for Zola Suite. But we've also got these trust reports that are absolutely necessary for attorneys. And we've got this three-way reconciliation because, again, Zola Suite keeps track of all your information in here. And it is built specifically for attorneys, as you can imagine. But then we also have the information related to paying our own vendors. So that's something that's not always built into a law practice management system. And it's not always built into a law practice management system that caters to larger, medium-sized firms as well. So this isn't everything that Zola Suite can do. There is a lot more to dig into. And if you want to get a trial, they have a free trial that you can check out at their address. Their web address is ZolaSuite.com. They can also do some very moderately advanced things with documents, like actually searching all the documents that have been that have been uploaded. And this is a very interesting way, or this is something that doesn't exist for a lot of law practice management systems. So being able to upload your documents and then search the actual contents of your documents is kind of advanced. So, again, that's not everything that they have. But I hope you learned something. I hope this was helpful. And I will see you around the lawyer's ecosystem.
