Speaker 1: Welcome, this is Timmy from Little Green Light, and I will be leading you through a tour of our donor management system today. The primary purpose of the tour is to provide you with an overview of some of Little Green Light's key features. For a closer look at Little Green Light, we'd suggest setting up a free 30-day account so you can test out some of what you've learned in today's webinar. Let's begin by talking a bit about what Little Green Light is. Little Green Light, or LGL for short, is a cloud-based donor management system that allows nonprofit organizations to more easily and more efficiently manage information about their organization's supporters and the contributions they make. It provides a variety of tools to help you more effectively and efficiently manage your development operations and your outreach efforts. During the tour, we're going to highlight some of those tools. Let's begin our tour on Little Green Light's dashboard. This is the screen that you'll land on once you log in to your Little Green Light account. On the dashboard, you'll quickly be able to see fundraising totals, view a listing of tasks or goals that need follow-up, as well as manage your calendar of activities. By going to the Home menu and the Team Members page, you can easily invite others to have access to your Little Green Light account. It's even possible to limit the level of access they have to the data in Little Green Light based on the role that you assign them. You can easily navigate to the various features in LGL by using the main navigation bar located at the top of every page. Sub-navigation options are also available when you hover over the main tab. When you want to quickly locate a record in Little Green Light, you can do a simple name search by using the search box at the top of every page. LGL's name search functionality is a very flexible search. You can search for a full name or even a partial name, and the search result pane will show all constituents in your database that match your name search term. In addition to simple name searches, LGL has a powerful filtering and advanced search platform that allows you to pull up any piece of information stored within a constituent record. The search functionality is the key starting place to create and manage lists, create reports. To view a completed constituent record, all you need to do is click on the name of the constituent you're interested in viewing. In LGL, all the important information you need about your constituents are stored in this one single page view. Everything from how they'd like to be addressed in mailings that you send them, to knowing who they are related to in your database, can be viewed in the constituent profile page. Their total gift history is available here as well, along with the history of your organization's interactions with them. LGL makes it easy for you to add the constituent fields you need and manage what fields show in your LGL account. The LGL settings tab, specifically the menu items area, is where all of this can be managed. LGL makes it easy to track all kinds of gifts, even pledges and in-kind gifts. Do you need to track memorial or honorary gifts? LGL's got that covered too. And with easy-to-create templates for thank you letters, you'll be sending out your acknowledgments within minutes. You're easily able to add gifts one at a time or use our bulk gift entry form. And you can easily produce a gift batch report when you're done entering for the day. You can easily send acknowledgments from LGL. Once you're ready to print your acknowledgments, just head to the acknowledgments tab, download the mailing, and mark it as sent. Because LGL makes it easy for you to add all the people who are important to your organization in a single database, you can easily generate mailing lists and produce mail merge letters, labels, and envelopes right from Little Green Light. With LGL Appeals, you can send personalized solicitations to your constituents based on their interests or even past giving and evaluate which solicitations are working the best. LGL is already integrated with software that you use. We have integrations with email marketing platforms like MailChimp and Constant Contact, as well as powerful form providers including LGL's own LGL Forms or WUFU and Formstack, and even prospect research tools like DonorSearch or WealthEngine. We even provide you with a free address verification system powered by Smarty Streets that will help keep your addresses clean and ready for mailing. With LGL Forms, you can create online forms to collect information or payments right from your website and have that information automatically appear in your LGL database when completed. Many of our customers are creating one-time and recurring donation forms with LGL Forms and even event forms to sell tickets and capture RSVP information. Our credit card processing solution for LGL Forms is powered by ProPay or Stripe and offers a safe, secure method of accepting donations online. One of the most frequently asked questions is about how much control our users have with creating reports in LGL. LGL comes loaded with reports, but you can also easily build and create your own reports and save them and run them as often as you wish. The last feature that I wanted to touch on in the tour today is LGL's Flex Importer. LGL offers a powerful import tool that we call the Flex Importer that allows you to upload your information into LGL in bulk from a CSV or an Excel file. We have some extensive knowledge-based documentation on how to use the Flex Importer, including this short 11.5-minute video that you can watch, and also some great documentation about how to prepare your database for migration to a new system.
