[00:00:00] Speaker 1: Hi, hello, I'm gonna show you how to do this effect. Isn't that cool how there's something behind me But like not in real life, but in the video. Yes, there is. I'm gonna show you how to do that and in the script Okay, let's go first things first. You want to go into your timeline? You want to copy your script track and then you want to paste it so that it's on top and it's a duplicate Clip then you want to mute that track so you don't get double audio Then you want to add the green screen effects and then will you look at that you basically cut yourself out Perfect. You can go into the media tab or wherever and then add in whatever you want I'm gonna add in this weird sausage dancing guy And then you just bring it you send it backward and then you put it behind your clip and then look at that Look at that amazing He's he's behind you and you didn't even have to do any sort of crazy editing And if you want to enhance the effect you can add you can add a little blur to the dude and then it looks like You know like like he's really behind you and then that that's it. That's how you do the effect Okay. Goodbye

Arow Summary
The speaker demonstrates a simple video editing technique to place an added element behind the presenter using a duplicated clip and a green screen/keying effect. Steps include duplicating the main clip in the timeline, muting the duplicate to avoid double audio, applying a green screen effect to cut out the subject, inserting a background media element, sending it backward behind the keyed clip, and optionally adding blur to the background element to improve realism.
