We're talking about a classroom that's centered around them. We got involved them in the decision making process, give them a chance to contribute and improve the learning environment. We're not done yet. We also need to create relevant and meaningful lessons that cater to the interests and abilities of our students. This ain't your grandpa's classroom. We're making it interactive and engaging. We'll create lessons that'll have our students wanting more. And let's not forget about positive collaboration. We're talking about teamwork people. We'll assign group projects and activities to promote teamwork and cooperation. It's all about supporting each other's efforts and achievements. Recent studies show that positively reinforcing good behavior, building positive relationships with students, and using effective classroom management techniques such as routines and procedures are key to building a positive classroom culture. We got to set clear expectations, establish mutual respect, and talk to our students about appropriate language, behavior, and dress code. When we address disciplinary and behavior issues quickly and fairly, we're setting ourselves up for success. So there you have it folks.
