Speaker 1: Hi, it's Russell from VoiceRecognition.com.au. Quick demonstration about how easy it is to set up a new profile. In the past, a lot of people use Dragon, used to doing the voice enrollment, having to read lots of paragraphs, takes time. Sometimes that puts people off. This new version, you don't need to do any of that, and I'm here to show you how quickly you can set up a new user and start dictating. So here we go. I'm going to start up a brand new user. Dragon's loaded. I hit next. I'm going to put my name in. There we go. It's easy. Okay, accent. We've got different accents. I'll pick Australia. I've got general or legal. In this case, this is a legal product, but otherwise, it'll show general. We'll load up legal. Next. Now, it's asking me what microphone I'm using. Now, I'm using a wireless headset, which is used for the phone and for Dragon. However, I might be using a digital voice recorder. I might be using a handheld corded microphone, such as this one. There's a Philips or an Olympus version of those. Very good for direct dictation. If I am using the voice recorder, I do need to do a little bit of enrolment. It takes about 10 minutes. But there is no enrolment with a headset, so I'm going to show you how quickly that can be done. Select the microphone, Next, and it's telling me to put the headset on properly. Now it wants me to read this short bit of text. I'm reading this text out loud, clearly and naturally. I will continue to use this tone when I dictate with a product. Right now I'm giving Dragon a chance to adapt to my voice and audio environment. As I talk, Dragon is checking the quality of the audio input and adjusting some settings. Good audio input is essential for accurate speech recognition. To achieve high accuracy, I should maintain a consistent distance between my mouth and the microphone. I should also minimise background noise. Dragon's website contains more tips as well as short videos. Full stop. I'm reading this text out loud, clearly and naturally. There we go. So that's it. No enrolment required. It's just checking my microphone and telling me that I passed. It's now setting up the profile. So from now on, Dragon is going to learn about my voice just by me using it. It'll learn on the fly. It will continue to adapt. If it makes mistakes, I'll correct it, and that will greatly improve its ability to understand my voice and therefore its accuracy. It's one of the things we go through during our professional training is we show you how to correct Dragon when it makes a mistake, and that certainly improves the accuracy a lot. We also slightly adjust the vocabulary to suit your particular corporate or government environment. So as soon as this is done, I'll be ready to dictate. So we've been going about two minutes. So I think we'll be able to demonstrate that you can set up and start dictating within about three minutes of loading the program on your computer. And as I said earlier, a lot of people have been put off because in the past the enrolment process was a little cumbersome. It's just not the case anymore as I'm about to show you. So we'll wait for that to set up the new profile. There we go. A few quick setup questions. Let's just hit next and finish. It's going to start a little tutorial which I encourage you to watch when you first use Dragon. It shows you how to make the corrections and use some of the features. I don't need to do that now. It'll pop up. There we go. So I'll just close that and the Dragon bar will appear at the top and it's giving me a few extra tips there which I can just minimize right now. And we'll just start a plain old Word document and start dictating and see what we get. All right. Okay, there's our cursor. So that's where the text will appear. I'll just bump up the font. I'm now dictating directly into Microsoft Word, full stop. As you can see, the text is almost appearing immediately onto the screen, full stop. You can dictate into almost any application on your Windows computer, full stop. Sometimes the program will make a mistake, comma, and we need to correct it, full stop. By making those corrections, we are teaching the program about our voice and Dragon will become more accurate very quickly, full stop. However, comma, you can see that it's quite accurate considering it's never heard me speak before, full stop, page down, new line. Please visit our website for more information, colon, new line, voicerecognition.com.au. Bold that. Compound that. Go to sleep. So there you go, a quick demo with Dragon. About, yeah, three, three and a half minutes from starting a new profile to dictating directly into Word like that, and I can start dictating into Outlook, into whatever program you're using, and it will become more accurate as you use it. As I said, visit our website, voicerecognition.com.au. We have some more videos showing you some other features of Dragon. Look forward to talking to you then. Thank you.
