+1 (831) 222-8398Speaker 1: Dragon Professional lets you transcribe your recorded speech. You can record your speech using a smartphone or digital recorder. Once you have a recording of your speech, copy the audio files to your computer so Dragon can transcribe them. Dragon Professional also has the auto transcribe folder agent feature that will automatically transcribe audio files found in a specific folder. To begin transcription, go to the Dragon bar, click on the Tools menu, and then select Transcribe Recording. First, locate the audio file that contains your recorded dictation by choosing Browse. Select the audio file, then choose Open. Dragon will automatically name the output document to match the name of the audio file and will choose the location of the audio file as the default location for the transcribed output. Choose Browse to change the output location and to rename the file for the transcribed results, if desired. Click the Options button to choose how much of the command set Dragon will allow while interpreting your recording. If you're not sure, stick with the default settings. Finally, click Transcribe. You can still work with other applications as you wait for Dragon to finish transcribing the recording. The transcription process usually takes a minute of time to process per minute of audio in the recording. If you have a 20 minute long audio recording, it will take Dragon around 20 minutes to transcribe the recording. Once Dragon has completed the transcription, you will be provided with a notification that the transcription is complete. Choose what to do with the output, and then click Done. Be sure to correct any misrecognitions that may occur so that Dragon has a chance to learn and improve the recognition accuracy, if necessary.
