Speaker 1: Hello friends, welcome to Soni's vision legal channel. I got a demand from you students on LinkedIn. Sir, you tell us how we can make our career in intellectual property. Look, in today's video, I will explain to you step by step that how you can make a career in intellectual property and which skills are required. If you want to go into IPR, trademark, copyright, patents, etc. Then you should know three things. What? Three things. First is ACT. You should know ACT very well. Trademark, Copyright, Patent. If your knowledge of ACT is not good, then you will not be able to act with the client. Why? If the client asks you a question or if there is a problem somewhere, then you will get stuck there. First of all, pick up the barrettes, read them, understand them. Take understanding of every section. Then pick up the manuals. They also have manuals. Read them. Take understanding from them. You will learn from them. Second thing. What you should know is Internet search. Look, IPR is related to the Internet. If you don't know how to use the Internet properly in today's time, that is, you can't make a search report by going to a trademark website. You can't make a search report by going to a patent website. You can't search for copyright. It's useless. Don't come into this industry. You won't be able to survive. Third thing. Understanding of business. Look, you must be thinking that I am a lawyer. What do I have to do with business? Wrong thing. With whom are you dealing? With a businessman. With entrepreneurs. So, the one you are dealing with, first you have to understand him. You have to understand his work. Look, you chat with a girl or a female boy. You have a crush. Then you see what food my crush likes. What is his interest in? Same way, the client you are dealing with, take understanding of his business. Take understanding of his industry. Then you will be able to give analysis. You will be able to explain to the businessman that how to use a trademark, how to use a patent, how to use an industrial design. The formula of my success is this. I connect fast with the client. The companies or my two competitions which take 2-3 hours, I take 5 minutes there. Why? I understand the client's business first. Now, I have seen so many businesses. I have done so much research. I have read so many case studies. With that, everything is settled in my mind. So, first of all, understand the client. Understand his business. And keep one thing in mind. If you are going into a patent, then in a patent, the tag is very important. Technology, engineering, everything is very important. Because what happens is, in a patent, you file a patent for technology and process. So, for process, for technology, you should have a very strong understanding. After that, you can imagine your career as a patent agent or in a patent industry. If you are not from an engineering background, then don't go. This industry is not for you. After that, read the case studies. Case studies are very important. See, today in my firm, all the team members, I take their classes once a week. Whether they are in my internship or in my firm or working at an associate level or a business developer. I take their classes. I give them case studies. I give them examples. With that, their mind opens up. They learn new things. Tesla, Nokia, Reliance, Tata, Starbucks, all these case studies are mine. In law firm, I teach my team. With that, they can give better service to my client. They can build connections. So, if you want to progress in the IPR industry, then read the case studies on the internet. On IPR. There are big companies. Microsoft, IBM. Their case studies are available for free. Take an understanding. Understand how these companies are using IPR. Then apply the same case study on small entrepreneurs. With that, you will earn money. Or if you work in a law firm, there you will get a good package. See, if you want a good package or if you want to earn more money, then look at the output. From my services, to the law firm or to the client, what output can I give? Only those people are successful. So, by doing this, you can make your career in IPR. And these skills are a must if you want to make a good career. Now, let's talk about money. How much can you earn? See, there are average skills. You know how to build an online firm. You can do basic research. So, let's assume you will get 3 lakhs per year in Bombay, Delhi or in cities like Pune. But, it is an excellent skill. You are excellent in case studies. You are excellent in R&D. You solve critical problems very quickly. You are good in client communication. So, assume you can earn 20-30 lakhs per year easily. It is a piece of cake. I have seen many people in the IPR industry or in trademarks. I mean, I know such people in the trademarks who earn 20 lakhs per month. They only work in the trademarks. But, they go to the DEP and not to the VID. We have read 10 acts. We have read 1 act in the trademarks. But, they are in the DEP. So, either you decide to go to the VID. That means, you will get 50 advocates. They take 50 acts together. But, they are in the VID. Not in the DEP. Harish Salvesh Sir is a corporate lawyer. He is an expert in taxation. He is considered the number one. He went to the DEP and not to the VID. He did not choose the criminal or the civil. He chose taxation in the corporate. So, you decide whether you want to go to the DEP or the patent act or the copyright act. When it comes to the copyright act, you have to decide whether you are going to go to the DEP or the VID. If you want to know more about IPR, which skills are required and if you want to know more about it, then you can comment in the comment section. My team checks every comment. We try to answer every comment so that you can get the right information. So, you watched this video till here. We supported the patent. Thank you for that.
