+1 (831) 222-8398Speaker 1: Welcome to a new video from HowToWindows. Today I'm going to show you a new feature Google has released for Chrome. That is called Live Captions. You can use that to get live subtitles for literally any video or audio on the internet or your PC. Okay, let's see how to do it. First, open Google Chrome. If you don't have Chrome, please download and install it. You can't do this with other browsers. Then open any video you want. I opened this video from Vimeo that I've bookmarked earlier. There's no built-in subtitles for this video. Play the video. Now you can see a new icon has appeared here among extension icons. Click on it and turn this on. If you use this feature for the first time, then some files will be downloaded. After that, you will see subtitles like this at bottom of the screen. The size of the pane can be changed. And we can move it also. Another cool thing is this feature even works for live videos. This is a live stream from YouTube. There's no other way to get captions for live videos.
Speaker 2: Okay. Now I'm going to use it on a video on my PC. And also I turn off my Wi-Fi, so you can see how it works offline.
Speaker 3: Here it is. Works great without any issue. Captions are pretty accurate. Like the video and subscribe our channel.
Speaker 1: Don't forget to comment your ideas in the comment section. Thank you for watching. Transcribed by https://otter.ai
