Speaker 1: Hello everyone, how are you doing? This is MDTech here with another quick tutorial. Today I'm going to be showing how to acquire royalty-free music and sound effects for your video that you would be uploading to YouTube or other platforms. A prerequisite to this video is that you have to have a Google YouTube account already established before doing this. This service is provided through YouTube, so you have to have an account with them, which assuming you do, just follow these steps. The first thing we're going to want to do is head over to Google, and then type in YouTube Audio Library. It should be the first link, so just left click on YouTube Audio Library. Then you're going to come to this page where you have a ton of songs to choose from. The track names will be listed along the left, and the popularity in different videos. I'm not sure if popularity means how often they appear on YouTube or how often they're downloaded, but you can see the popularity ranking along the right. If you click on the little play button, it will start playing the song before you download it. You can search through specific genres for different types of music, so at the top left you can go under like jazz and blues, pop, R&B and soul, and so forth. You could narrow down the list a little bit more efficiently. You have different moods you can choose from, instrument music, so bass, drums, electric guitar, and something that also is important is the duration. So however long you're going to need the music in your video for, you should try and find a video that fits that duration requirement. Under attribution, you could either categorize it by attribution not required or attribution required. The only difference between the two of them is that if attribution is required, you would have to put some text in the description of your video going to the creative commons page that says you have permission to use that song while monetizing it. You can also just find this out by just clicking on the track itself. For example, the first one here tells you you're free to use this song and monetize your video, but you have to copy and paste this text into your video description, but if we go down to the song right below it, it just says you're free to use this song and monetize your video. So there are no requirements beforehand or once you have uploaded your video to include anything in the description. So that's typically what I like to look for. I like to look for songs that do not have any requirements. There's also some sound effects. If you click on the top right tab, there are different sound effects like drill, pitch, aggressive motorcycle, storm, air nailer, so a lot of different sounds to choose from as well. There's also ad-supported music. Now I should warn you guys that if you are trying to monetize your videos, you will not be able to or the copyright owners of these songs will monetize your video. So if you're just doing a class project, it sounds like from what I've seen with the ad-supported music that you're able to upload it and it won't immediately take it down, but you will not be able to monetize your video. So I would probably stay away from this, but under the free music tab and the sound effects tab, pretty much just go at it. So I hope this tutorial helped you guys out and I will see you in the next tutorial. Goodbye.
