+1 (831) 222-8398[00:00:00] Speaker 1: It's really easy to get captions on your video most apps like Descript have a caption feature and you just click captions and throw them On but what happens when they're not perfect or you want to individually move a word to match the sound? Let me give you an example in this video The lyrics of the music say it's Descript. I'm gonna play that And you'll notice then the captions go off screen while the sound trails off What if I wanted that word Descript to stay on the screen? That's why we have the word bar So if you're not in your timeline, you can drag this up and you'll see anything from your script is also in your timeline That's not just to show you the word. It's actually to allow you to move it around If we're on Mac, we're gonna hold command if we're on Windows We're gonna hold control and you'll see you get these little handles on the end of your word bar. You can actually drag that around So say I want that to go all the way to the last frame of the video now, I'm gonna replay that and watch what happens Stays on the screen. So don't just let your captions be default use the word bar to make them perfect
