Speaker 1: Hey you guys, it's Nathan Lucas and in this video I'm going to show you how to add closed captions and subtitles to your videos. Take a look. All right you guys, this is really simple and this is the fastest way that you can add subtitles and closed captions to your videos. So here I am, I'm on my channel. So go to your channel and the first thing that you want to do is click right here on video manager. All right once you're on the back side and you see all your videos here, you can see which ones have closed captions by the CC indicated next to the video. So all you're going to do is find a video that you want to add closed captions or subtitles to. So here's one right here that I would like to add it to. All you do is select the drop down, come down to subtitles and CC. The video is going to open up like this. Now watch this, pay very close attention because this is the fastest way you can do this. Click on English or whatever language you have there and now this is the automated subtitles that YouTube has assigned to your video. All you do is scroll down to the bottom, click on edit. If you want to actually edit some of these, go ahead, go inside of there and edit them. All I'm going to do is just publish these edits which I did. In this case I didn't make any. But once you do that, now that I clicked edit, republished these subtitles, look what happens. I come back, I come back to the video and now that video has closed captions. So you can see this is a really quick way that you can do this if you need to add closed captions to your videos. If you guys got value, you like this video, help me out.
