+1 (831) 222-8398[00:00:00] Speaker 1: Let me show you a feature in Descript that you might not know about, which is very depressing, so you're going to learn about it today. If we open up our timeline here, as you can see, we have the patented word bar down there. It's not actually patented, I don't think, but everyone knows the word bar. But not everyone knows that you can actually realign the word bar. For example, in my captions here, whoa, this is like a weird inception thing. The alignment is a little off on the word behind. Check it out. To be behind all of our other... You see how it lags a little bit? Be behind all of our other... There's an easy way to fix that. We just realign the word bar. See, because I start saying the word behind here, but the word doesn't pop up until here. So all I have to do is hold the command button, or control if you're on PC, and drag that puppy to where I actually start saying behind. Now, if we play it back... Background layer, we want it to be behind all of our other layers, but oh no. Perfectly aligned. Easy, one, two, three, we move on. I don't know why I saluted. So yeah, if you have any of those weird transcription timing errors, you can actually fix those. You're not just doomed to deal with it. So now you know, and the world is better because of it, I think. I don't know what stuff you make.
