[00:00:00] Speaker 1: Are you tired of sitting through hours of podcasts or YouTube videos just to find one or two clips that end up only getting 200 views? Yeah same here. Well the problem isn't your content, it's actually your workflow and I'll tell you why because the tools to help you already actually exist and one of them is called HappyScribe. So today I'm going to show you how to turn any YouTube video into multiple clips using HappyScribe in just a matter of minutes. So let's say you've got a podcast or long format video and you don't want to sit there finding those best moments to clip up. Well here's what you do, let's head over to the HappyScribe website. Once you're there I want you to transcribe the video you want clips for and I'll explain later why. So you can upload your video just by pasting the YouTube link or uploading it directly from the device. Once it's done let HappyScribe transcribe the video, it will just take a couple moments. Now you're going to have the full transcript so from here you've got two options. So either you can read through it manually finding those moments that you want to clip up or the smarter way you can use the chat feature. So for example we can go to the chat feature and say give me four moments for this video that are most likely to go viral and just like that you'll get timestamps plus explanations for why those clips work and there's another scenario that you can use it for and this is quite a big one for me. If you remember a moment but you just don't know where about in the video it is you can just ask where's the part where this exact moment happened and it will take you straight to it. This alone just saves me so much time. So now that you've got your timestamps it's time to head over to your editing software. In this example I'm going to use DaVinci Resolve but you can use any editing software that you find easiest. Just go to the timestamps that were given to you by HappyScribe and just clip those segments and export it once it's all ready. So now you should have multiple clips but it looks like they're missing something so let's head back to HappyScribe and we just need to upload your clips and generate subtitles. You can either choose from your original language or you can translate them into 120 plus languages if you're trying to reach that global audience and once they're generated now comes the fun part and it's editing. You can change the text adjust the timing of the waveform and fully customize the style fonts colors positioning bold outlines everything so your subtitles actually match your content style and once you're happy all you have to do is just export your video. Now you're gonna have clean professional clips but we're actually still not done. Let's say you need a caption and instead of sitting there thinking about it not knowing what to write you can actually just use our chat feature again and just ask it. Write me an Instagram caption for this clip and it will generate one for you with hashtags even included and just like that you've taken one long form video and turned it into multiple clips with subtitles and even captions and all of this in a fraction of time.

Arow Summary
The speaker explains a faster workflow for repurposing long YouTube/podcast videos into multiple short clips using HappyScribe. They recommend transcribing the video, then either manually scanning the transcript or using HappyScribe’s chat to suggest viral clip moments with timestamps or to locate a remembered moment. After selecting timestamps, the clips are cut in an editor (e.g., DaVinci Resolve). The clips are then re-uploaded to HappyScribe to generate and customize subtitles (including translation to 120+ languages). Finally, the chat feature can generate social captions with hashtags, enabling quick creation of polished, ready-to-post clips from one long video.
