How to Sign Up for Volunteer Shifts at Seco Science Center (Full Transcript)

Speaker 1: Congratulations. You've successfully interviewed with Laura and have completed our Indoor Touchting class to become a volunteer at the Seco Science Center. Now what? After you have attended the required Touchting class, you will be sent an invitation to signup.com from Laura via email. Once you receive your invite, you will follow the link to signup.com, click on sign in, and use your email and password that is unique to yourself. Now that you signed in, you will be able to see your dashboard, where any calendar you have been invited to will go, located under My Invitations. In order to sign up for a specific shift based on assignment and time, you are going to want to click on the appropriate calendar. Once you have selected and opened the calendar you wish to view, now you will be able to find all the shifts available, whether they are filled or still have a need. Make sure when you are signing up that you are double checking what date and time you are signing yourself to. Click assign and voila. You are ready to come in and volunteer. It is important that you contact us via email and phone if you are unable to attend or make your shift at the last minute. It is important that once you have signed up, to please take the responsibility and show up.
