Speaker 1: so basically it's back to school it's already been like one month since school started I think I forgot to upload because I got really busy and like school I'm just like really starting to get used to like senior year and um yeah I forgot to upload I'm going to teach you guys how to like take aesthetic notes. I'm just gonna show you how I romanticize my school life basically. I try a lot to romanticize my school life because like my school life is like not really like the best but whatever. So first things first I always get myself really really really cute like stationery, notebooks, and I work on like the way I take my notes so that it looks like super super cute. I have a video here. So first this is my binder and I put like basically everything in my binder. I also use, like as I mentioned in previous videos, Canvas notebooks. I really really really like them. They're really nice. I personally think that I can take a lot of notes in like one page in one day of class so like I think they will last me pretty long. Recently also just got myself this Cornell like notebook so it's a grid type Cornell's writing method. It's for honorary students and I'm an honor student so that really helps. I found it in like some little stationary shop in my mall but yeah it basically it like has a grid and like the layout for you to do quarter notes. It's super cute I really really like it. These are two other campus notebooks I have but like I don't really use them because my classes that I have them for we usually get a lot of papers given to us or we just don't have notes at all so So basically, for my note cards, I really like pointing out what points I use, and honestly, for note cards, I only use it for drama to memorize my lines, and I use it for equations. Like here, for example, I'm writing down physics equations that I do need to memorize for the future and like I just do it so it gets in my head and also so I can get like the main idea. I also just use notecards for Spanish like conjugation memorization because that's the only way I can memorize it so and also it's like really good to bring wherever you go as well. Me personally notecards are not such a necessity in my studying ways but I do like using them for like these reasons. I never really used notecards until this year. To be honest, in general, this year's the first time I'm actually taking taking aesthetically seriously, and I feel like it's definitely helped me a lot with the way I've learned topics. I feel like I've been learning them quicker, and with the Cornell notebook, I've actually gotten better grades too. Like, I aced a math exam and this video was recorded earlier like a long time earlier but like now in the present time after using this note-taking method it's like definitely helps so much and like I really do recommend using this way of note-taking. I also color code my note cards so I have colors for every single class. I do feel like my notes are too over stimulating sometimes so like this was how I did them before I think I am lessening the amount of effort and color and like you know stuff into it cuz like oh so I need to take notes really fast in my class especially physics he will write something down and he will erase it off the board. It's like really annoying sometimes. But typically this is how I always write my notes. I just color code them and I just write them with black gel pens, highlighters, and colored gel pens and then I use whiteout. So my notes are pretty printer-inspired and I really like them. They work for me. They might not work for other people. Like I said, I am not forcing my note-taking techniques onto people but like I would love to share these type of tips. This video was kind of short and I did it because like I just forgot to upload and stuff like I said but like yeah I hope you guys enjoyed it.
