+1 (831) 222-8398Speaker 1: Hello, I'm Mike from MusicRadioCreative.com. In this video, I'll show you how to transcribe a podcast with multiple guests and label them individually in the transcription. Right, pop my headphones on and this is done using Sonix. They're a partner in our Summer of Sound awesome audio gear giveaway. If you want to win a 12 month pro subscription to Sonix and a lot more audio gear worth nearly $10,000 US dollars, head to mrc.fm slash giveaway. That's mrc.fm slash giveaway. Now here I am in the Sonix account to enable this fab feature. Just go into my account and you'll need to go into edit preferences and then enable multi-track uploads. Save those preferences. And then when I go to upload here in Sonix, you'll see multi-track recording is enabled now. So I'm going to click that and then show you what you need to do in audition. So this is a podcast I've just finished editing on the top track, track one. It's me, the host on track two. It's my guest, Darrell. And what I'm going to do is I've also got sound effects and music on tracks three and four. That'll be important when exporting. So this is all done, finalized and ready to export. So now I'm going to go into file, export, multi-track mix down entire session. This is where it gets interesting. So I'm going to label this as Darrell Darnell host track. So that's me, obviously. And then in mix down options, I want to make sure here as the tracks, I am choosing to mix down, not the master mix, switch that off, but I just want the host, sound effects and music beds in the first mix out. So we'll click okay. It's okay for it to be a waveform. That's exactly what I want. And that's now going to export. Okay, that's done. Obviously sped up for ease and time restrictions in this video, of course. Right, now we'll go in and get the host. This time we're changing and we don't want the entire session untick all of that. We just want the interview track. Click okay, and it's a waveform and we're going to call this again, Darrell Darnell and we're going to call this interview. So we've got two tracks now, that's now exported. Okay, now we've got both bits. So if I go into my finder here in the directory I saved to, we've got Darrell Darnell interview and Darrell Darnell host, two different tracks, the same podcast, all matched up perfectly, ready for upload to Sonix. Let's just have a quick check. The interview should be silenced at the start because that was me speaking. But later on, if I skip through, you'll find eventually, there we go. We've got Darrell speaking on that channel and over here. Hey, I'm Mike Russell. This is the interview, just with the host. So two different tracks. We've got guest and we've got host on two different files now. Now it's time to upload to Sonix. And remember I selected multi-track recording. We give it a name. Adobe Audition Podcast, Darrell Darnell. And it's all ready to go. Make sure I get two R's in there. There we go. Okay, all sorted. So now I'll grab both those files, drag them in and Sonix will do its magic. Just as this is uploading, I can type in now the speakers. So this is me speaking on the host file. So that's Mike Russell. And then over here on the interview channel, this is Darrell Darnell. There's Darrell's name. When this is finished uploading and transcribing, you will find it looks perfect with transcriptions and perfectly labelled speakers. Okay, both tracks now uploaded. I need to click start transcribing. And there we go, it's all done. So if I go into this transcription now, you will see that it comes out perfectly transcribed with over 90% confidence. It really is a great transcription service. And there's Mike Russell and there's Darrell. Perfect speaker labelling. Very, very quick and easy. So there you go. Looking good.
