How to Use AI Tools to Create Effective SOPs for Your Business (Full Transcript)

Speaker 1: Every time I talk to some agency owner, they always tell me that one of the frustrating parts of growing an agency or any kind of business as such is building systems and processes. These are basically documentations or guides that you give to your team members so that they go ahead and use it in the business. The challenge, though, it's really difficult to create this documentation for each and every step that you have. I was creating some documentation for Alpha Club. I figured out that I can't do it alone. So that is where my best bro, Chad GPD, came into picture. And in this video, I will show you how you can use the power of AI to build standard operating procedures or systems in your business. It's a tedious job to document everything, write everything down. And I felt, what if we can use some YouTube video that we normally use to build our own SOPs and just transcribe it and figure out how we do it? So that's when I came across this tool called Glasp. So you have to go to Glasp.co. This is the website. And this is a simple Chrome plugin. So this is how it looks. If you click on Install on Chrome, it will get added to your Chrome dashboard, where you can see it right here. So once you install, you can open up any YouTube video, something like this. So in my case, what did I do was I record a complete 12-minute video on how to scrape data from Apollo so that I can give it to my team so that my team can go ahead and access this data, use it, and start sending cold emails. And I wanted to write a detailed SOP around it. So I recorded a complete video of me showing this entire process. And as you can see, there is something called a transcript and summary. So if you click on this down arrow, it goes ahead and shows you the complete transcript of the video. Now, the best thing about Glasp is if you click on this GPT button, View AI Summary, open in a new tab, what it will do, it will auto-prompt something and say that summarize the following in five bullet points. And it did summarize my video in five bullet points, which is fantastic. Now, what I normally use GPT-4, but I'll do it for this video's sake. Just I simply write, write a detailed step-by-step standard operating procedure SOP based on the transcript above. That's all. Now, what this will do, it will give you a step-by-step content. And obviously, you can expand this. But it is definitely something that you can start with. And it definitely broke me out of my writer's block. Now, what I do is I opened up my notion where all my SOPs are listed. Let's say I go to my process map, fulfillment, and this is the same thing. I embedded this particular YouTube video on my notion. And there is a step-by-step guide on how exactly to use the tool. I can give the access to this document to my team members so that they can use this particular method to do the work without me being involved.
