Speaker 1: YouTube Summary is a powerful Chrome browser plugin that once installed appears on the side of any YouTube video and allows you to instantly transcribe the video for free. It also connects with chat GPT and allows you to use a few other hidden features that I'm gonna show you right now because I'm Owen Video. The first thing you need to do is go onto your computer and open any Chrome browser window. You can see I'm on my website. Just go up to the browser bar at the type and type in Chrome Web Store. You'll get a bunch of search results and then just click on the Chrome Web Store. Once you're here, you're gonna type on YouTube Summary and then you're gonna get a couple different responses here. I'm gonna recommend the plugin by Clasp.co and the reason I recommend this one is because they have a family of Chrome browser plugins that work well with chat GPT. So click on that search result there and then click on the blue button here to add it to your Chrome browser plugins. Once it's fully installed, it will change the text to say Remove and you can come up here into the upper right-hand corner of your browser and you should be able to see it right here. It looks like a little piece of watermelon gum. Now, if you don't see it here, then you wanna click on this little puzzle piece that says Extensions. Scroll down till you find it and then just click, highlight the blue pin here and that will pin it up into this section here and you're just about ready to use it. So let's go ahead and go over to YouTube and it's important to note that this will work with any YouTube video except if the video is too long. So there is sort of a limitation on time and I'm gonna show you how to get around that. So I'm actually gonna go to a video that's a little bit too long. Let's go to this Gary Vee video. 20-minute video is way too long but let me just show you how it works. So the video is playing here and you can see on the right-hand side where it says Transcript and Summary, that is my plugin right there. So I can click on the down arrow and immediately you can see that the transcript is there. It took like zero time whatsoever, okay? But this is a whole lot of text here and this app has some additional features that you can use. So I can use this plugin to get a transcript of a long video and then I can add it into a Google document and I can edit it by hand. But the video will be too long to put into ChatGPT. So to get the most from this plugin, you should find shorter videos. So what I'm gonna do is pick a shorter video so I can show you how powerful this plugin really is. So let's take a look at this one. It's three minutes and 47 seconds. Let me click on that one here. And you can see this is Dr. Eric Berg. He's one of my favorites. You click on Transcript and Summary and again, we've got all the text here but it's a much shorter video. So I can easily copy the transcript here. I can open up a YouTube video and I've actually already pasted it from an earlier draft of the video I was making. So let's just kind of go back and see it. You see how that works. You can also jump to the current time in the video. So a lot of videos are divided into chapters and you can kind of see these little overlays on the video. You can see where the straight lines in between are. Those are the chapters. You could also go into the description box here and you can see that, look, we've got 106 benefits of fasting. So I'm just gonna go to that chapter. I'm gonna pause it and I'm gonna click on Jump to Current Time. You can see I've already jumped to like the meat of the video. So I could just highlight this until the end, right-click and copy it so I can come over here and I can easily just paste this copy where now I can work on. Obviously, I didn't copy the whole thing. I was just trying to show you how it worked. But let me show you maybe my favorite feature of the transcript and summary tool and that is the direct connection to ChatGPT. So when I click on this, a ChatGPT video summary will open right away. Look at that. It's automatically asking ChatGPT to give me a summary of this video. Now we can begin to play with this video. So you see how it gave me a four-minute video has a summary of just like five or six lines. And then take a look in the upper left-hand side here how ChatGPT has automatically labeled this chat for me. And now over here, I can play with the response like this. Write me another summary of this video but break it down into easy-to-read bullet points that would function like a training manual and click Go. And so quickly, I'm getting these great results that I can use to write my own blog, to create some social media posts and all of that was done in just a few seconds using this great tool called YouTube Summary that allows you to summarize all of these videos.
