[00:00:01] Speaker 1: Hi, I'm Josh. Just wrapping up hosting Zoom's sales kickoff. It was called Limitless this year. It's been such a great event. Loved hosting it. We've had tons of great energy. A couple of our goals for this event was really to put the audience first. We focused on interactivity, gamification, and really setting up our presenters to connect with the audience and deliver them what they need to feel motivated and inspired throughout the year or so. What makes this event so exciting and powerful is that Zoom and Zoom events makes every piece of this hybrid experience really come together from recorded content, live bits and pieces, again, the gamification. What I'd like to do now is take you backstage and see how Zoom makes an event like this all come together. Let's go take a look.

[00:00:46] Speaker 2: Thanks, Josh. Hey, everybody. When you're producing a global event like this, everybody has to stay connected. You have to have access to the things they need. The hub of all of this is our show caller. We've tied in three channels of show intercom to three different instances of Zoom, three meetings, three breakouts, whatever you have. You can talk directly to the on-stage talent like Josh and Krista through their in-ears or you can talk to the crew through another channel of comms. This show is being mixed on vMix. Over here, you can see what's in preview. This might be the cameras or you can see what's currently on program. This is Zoom tiles right now. You can see it's rotating through some virtual participants. We're sending the output of vMix into Zoom via RTMP. Zoom events has RTMP input and we're using hardware encoders. On this show, we've got about 20 watch parties joining remotely. We made it easy for them to join by ticketing them in the Zoom events lobby. Here you can see we're running tiles for Zoom. We've got our three participants in here, and we can just quickly change the layout with a click of a button, change all the graphic attributes of it, make it stylized to meet the branding of your event. We've got the space theme for this one. That's how we're doing it. We just connect all the computers and all the people using Zoom's ecosystem of documents, accounts, and Zoom events itself. Glad to share that with you. Back to you, Josh.

[00:02:16] Speaker 1: Thanks, Mark, for that backstage tour. Let's take a look at what's on the studio side here. We've got places to get ready. Obviously, here's our big, beautiful space-themed event with beautiful backlights and just a really, really great look. One thing in particular I'd love to show off is that we use these vertical monitors. They're not hot right now. We're not in session any longer. But these monitors carry our graphics toolkit with all of our audience interactions. So chat is ongoing and scrolling, as well as all the emoji fountains. So it really brings a lot of life to all of the video shots. So if we come over here, we've had a full prompter. We have a full three-camera shot that's really allowed us to do a lot of really creative work and keep the energy nice and high. And we'll finish over here once I sit on my marks here, which is where I've been standing for the majority of this event. All of this has been possible with a focus on interactivity and keeping the audience energy nice and high so that they feel connected and inspired. And all of this is possible with the Zoom platform. Thanks for watching the tour.
