Speaker 1: Good morning it's 9 a.m. on a warm Sunday morning. Now a couple of days ago I made this YouTube and me talk which was 37 minutes long. As you play it and I'm just going to go in a little bit because this video is in a couple of parts and you'll see why. The first thing is when the video is uploaded and I'll play a bit and watch for the this area here which is the automatic machine transcript. In this talk we're going to learn about you know there you go you get you get this going. Now what I've done is I've copied and pasted all of those words and they come out to be a 37 minute talk at 6245 words and it's pretty pretty accurate but it could be a little bit better. So if you'd look at something like here at the top let's have a look at something really simple. There you go look Mike Downs is my name but it's not a capital D and it doesn't have an E in it at the moment. So we can correct that and that's why I'm making this quick video now and then I'll add to it later. What we can do in the subtitles and closed to caption area of your video is go in and this is recovered edits or you can click on the top one. The one I'm clicking on is this one because I've already started it and for those people who are thinking about being quite thorough with their work what happens is you could auto generate and do things like that. The one that I'm going to do, now watch this very carefully, is I'm going to go through and as I play it you can see that all of the words are coming through and then all you do is click to correct. So I'll show you exactly. Now before I do that there is a little piece at the top here that says keyboard shortcuts. Click it and what we get is a shift left which goes back a second, a shift right goes forward. We've got shift space to pause or play. Shift and space. Why has it got shift and space? Okay fair enough. Shift and enter. Shift and down. Shift and up and enter. So what I'm getting at is that if you learn those and you are thorough with your work and I'll show you what how it works. Let's play a little bit. And she's having a... Sorry that's not very good is it? Because what I've done is... Right here we go. Let's go from the beginning. Here we go. In this talk we're going to learn about a person's journey through YouTube. It's called YouTube and me. One in a billion. You'll see that it's recorded 2nd of May. So what you're going to... Right now the bit that I paused it on is I want to change my name. Expect from me Mike Down. Me Mike Down. So then I go and click it and literally I go back and put a capital D and an E. Notice the moment I've clicked it and I think it's paused or I can pause it the moment you click. Now you'll notice there is a little plus button there. What's that do? Don't know. Enter. Anyway I'm going to stop that there because I've done one simple correction. I've not published it yet because it's a draft. Now I'm going to stop. On my bottom right it's 9.02 and I plan to work on this immediately and I hope it's not going to take too long because I want to be thorough and then possibly republish or start talking about and building on this talk. And you can see that it's quite a bit there. Something doesn't make sense. Get rid of it. Right let's finish that. See you in a second or two or hopefully a few minutes. So here we go again at 9.23. I'm 10 minutes, about 30% through the talk and I think I've corrected about maybe four or five things. I'm going to be quite happy with that at the moment so what I'm going to do is publish the edits and just leave it like that. That will take a few minutes I think to publish and I'm quite happy. It says published so I think that's all I'm getting at for now. Please, please, let's hope that's finished. Right good that's being quite happy with it and there are two things here. I'm not sure I'm going to do these at the moment. One is share a link to contribute to this video which I could easily do maybe for different languages. Perhaps I will do that immediately. You'll find in the description and the other one is share a link to contribute to your channel. At the moment I'm just going to contribute to this video so let's copy that and carry on.
