Speaker 1: Hey, welcome to this video and if you arrived here, you're probably searching for an allegiance transcription review, so I'll go over how it works and then I'll give you my two cents whether I think this is a good use of your time or not. So obviously you're here, you're wondering, can you actually make money on here as a transcriptionist? Well I've reviewed lots of websites like this, it's similar to a lot of them, you'll be transcribing audio files into text, but specifically for insurance and law, so if you have some experience insurance and insurance or law that that would help. They've been around since 1996. They're located. They're based in Washington, USA. They have a 3.8 rating on Glassdoor. So if you're wondering, are they legit? Yes, they're a legit company. Absolutely. And now understand you'll be working as an independent contractor. So they're not your employer. There's pros and cons to this setup. On the pro side, you get lots of flexibility with your hours, more freedom, you can work remotely. And but there's also some cons, right, you don't get benefits, obviously, you're responsible for your taxes, your equipment, scheduling, and, and the work can be fairly sporadic. So it's not like working a nine to five where you get a guaranteed, you know, eight hours a day, you might get two hours here, three hours there, it all just depends on how available the availability of work. Now, so if you like that flexibility and freedom that this might be for you, but if you need more stability, probably not the best opportunity or you've got family to provide for now. Now, they actually have a blog. You can find more information on their blog where they provide tips and tricks and to landing a job, different tools you need and just some additional training to increase your income potential. They recommend, you know, learning medical, getting involved in the medical field, because that can also increase your income potential, not on here, but on just in general. Now, the blog hasn't been updated in a while, but I think the information is still fairly relevant because, you know, transcription doesn't really change all that much from year to year. That's another benefit of it. So the skills you'll be learning never really go out of style. So but a lot of the information you'll find is under this transcription jobs tab and I suggest watching this short video. It's like three minutes long. They talk about this is people who've gone through transcription jobs. They've actually worked as freelance independent contractors. They say the support is great. Allegious is always there for you to answer any questions and help you better your career. career. One woman who is shown in this video has been a transcriptionist for 15 years and she says Allegrious is the best website she has been on. The team is very friendly, they are quick to respond to questions which is great. Now most of these testimonials, two of them are from stay at home moms so they are probably not the sole income provider. But actually one was by a guy and he's able to make a full-time income just with Allegis apparently. So it is possible. Probably quite rare though. Now just to get an idea of the job, you want to come down to job descriptions. I can't go back but it should show several different jobs and you just click on descriptions and you can see excellent English and grammar, spelling and grammar in English. to understand challenging audio and accents because you're going to have to be deciphering some of those and a fast typer now they don't tell you what that means but I saw on one of their other pages they say 65 words per minute or higher so and if you can't type that fast and obviously accurate and if you can't type that fast there are different courses on out there on the internet I suggest you taking I was able to go from like 20 words a minute to around you you know, 70, 65, 70, 75 when I was in high school, just by taking a course. So if you're a slow typer, you can, it's definitely a learnable skill. Now, so, and you also need an up-to-date PC. You can't use a Mac, unfortunately. Also need a foot pedal and a headset and an audio player, specifically if you're doing legal work. So, but regardless of what work you're doing, you need a foot pedal and a headset. That much is that's what you need. And now, as far as now, and eventually you want to come to this community network site, that'll give you more information. If you're serious about applying, you have to go through here first. And so, so it shows you the steps first. You need to apply. That'll take 45 minutes or so than the interview stage. that's and then they'll kind of give you a path based on your skill set and what they what they learn about you in the interview and so you can go to level one experienced or specialized and obviously the higher you go the more you'll make more money you'll make and then the last step is quality development so this is a two-week process where you're working one-on-one with a coach they'll give you some training, different exercises and assessments, and just to make sure you're fit for the role. And then you can start applying for jobs. So it's kind of nice that they hold your hand every step of the way, you're not kind of left to your own devices. Now the pay is actually quite good, it's $13 to $17 an hour. Obviously it's gonna depend on your speed because it's based on audio minute, per audio minute, right? So the faster you can do it, the more you're gonna make per hour, right? And so yeah, all in all, it's a decent website compared to a lot of other websites like this that I've reviewed. So I would say if you wanna become a transcriptionist, you can check this out. But the question you need to be asking yourself is not are they a legit website? They are, it's do you actually wanna be a transcriptionist? So here are just two things about transcription that kind of, I would say are negatives. So first of all, you know, $13 to $17 an hour is not that much, right? You're never going to get rich making that much money, that little money. Can you pay your bills? You know, probably if you're able to work eight hours per day. Um, but, uh, but are you going to be able to travel the world? You know, really, you know, live life on your terms. Probably not live a life of abundance. And also the work can be quite sporadic. So again, it's not eight hours a day. you might only get two or three hours a day. So it's not even full-time, right? Most of the time. Yes, you can probably work yourself up there, but at first you're not gonna get full-time hours. So you probably won't even be able to pay all your bills, right? And secondly, you're still trading time for money, right? Yes, it's a step up from working a traditional job at an office, because you get to work from home in your pajamas, obviously, but you're still chained to your desk all day. You're still, or however long you're working for, You're still having to hit metrics, you know, have a boss, answer to someone else, work for the man. And there's really no leverage in that, right? You'll never become free doing this sort of work. But if you need to make fast money, yeah, it's a good opportunity. And you're not, you know, and maybe you're a stay at home mom. You don't need to worry about earning full time that this can be a good opportunity for you. Now, look, you're here obviously because maybe you're not necessarily interested in becoming a transcriptionist. Maybe you just want a reliable way to earn money from home. Well, I was in your situation almost two years ago. I tried all sorts of stuff. I tried blogging, freelancing, domain flipping, filling out surveys, and nothing I seemed to be doing was working. So I was kind of banging my head against the wall. I didn't want to go back to working at a call center. So, and what I found the best way to earn an income online and really the only way that I recommend for beginners is selling digital products. Now, what are digital products? They're basically courses, MP4 files and eBooks, but mostly courses, online video training, something someone can click on and get immediate access to. 100% digital, there's no physical aspect to this. And now you could, and it could be in any niche, you know, weight loss, how to get six pack abs, personal development, make money from home, which is the space I'm in, personal finance, you know, how to build a garden in your backyard. The list just goes on and on. Now you could either sell your own digital products, which is fairly advanced, or you could sell other people's digital products. That's called affiliate marketing. You might've heard of affiliate marketing. It actually is growing in popularity, but it's still fairly underground. And it's a 12 billion dollar industry and it's and it's and it's getting bigger every year. It's bigger than real estate security. And I always forget the last retail. Sorry. And what's great about it, it's relatively simple. You do need to learn some skills, but compared to other business models out there, it's not that difficult. You don't have to be anyone special. So it's simple. There's lots of leverage and automation in place. unlike with something like a transcription or any any freelance work or contract based work. You're not you're not earning based on the number of hours you put in. So if you want to do this on the side, maybe you only have an hour a day. You could absolutely do that. And still and because there's lots of leverage and automation in place, you don't necessarily have to be there all the time because your business will constantly be working for you in the background. So maybe you're feeling lazy one day or you just want to go hiking. you can do that. So for an example of leverage and automation is these YouTube videos I put out. I actually have four channels and these videos are working for me every day, whether I'm tired or not, whether I'm sick or not, and they'll be up there forever for people to search, right? So that's leverage. That's an example of leverage. And there's other leverage points you could use as well, like emails, different social media platforms. So leverage and automation. So simple leverage. And the third reason I love affiliate marketing is the costs to run the business are very low. My business doesn't cost me any more than $150 a month and you could actually get it to under a hundred. Do you have to spend a little bit of money on tools? Yes, you do. Nothing in this world is free, but compared to all the other business models out there, it's much cheaper. For example, drop shipping, I don't know if you heard of drop shipping. The profit margins for that are like 10 to 20%, But affiliate marketing is the profit margins are between 40 and 90%. So, which is really great. Um, and it's the one business model I found where you could really be a solo planner, or you could just be one person on your laptop, making really good money for yourself. I'm talking, you know, a hundred dollars an hour or more eventually, right? You won't get there overnight. It takes time to build stuff up, but it's kind of like a snowball. You do a little work each day and it just grows and grows and grows and continues to feed you for the rest of your life, basically. So if you'd like to learn how to do affiliate marketing, I think is that, I mean, there's many ways to skin a cat, right? There's tons of different ways to do affiliate marketing. But the best and simplest way that I know of, all you have to do is check out that link below. You'll see my email opt-in page. Just enter your best email and I can send you a free workshop that'll just give you the entire blueprint and you could take it and run with it. You'll be learning how to pick products, how to build out your simple sales process that is working for you on autopilot 24-7, 365 days a year, how to generate leads from a variety of different sources, whether that's YouTube, social media, free and paid social media, influencer networks. There's so many different ways you can get leads all over the internet. And also how to build trust with people because trust is the cornerstone of any online business. And if you're afraid to get on video, you should be doing some video, but if you're just deadly afraid, you don't necessarily have to show your face. There are ways around that. And the training will talk about those ways as well. So, yeah, I hope you enjoyed this review of Allegis Transcription. I hope I pronounced that right. Again, they're a great company. I can't say anything bad about them. They're obviously doing something right. They've been around for, since 1996 or 25 years, I believe. Yeah. So, but I hope you enjoyed this review. It's just, it's just who you are. If you're here, cause you just want to make a few bucks on the side, this can be a great opportunity about, but if you're here, cause you really want to leverage the internet and secure your future and your family's financial future, I strongly suggest getting involved with affiliate marketing. Cause it's not going anywhere. It's only getting bigger and, and the opportunities are endless. And you might be worried, is it going to get saturated? Is it not going to get saturated? Because first of all, most people aren't very good at marketing. And secondly, you know, I can't possibly appear everywhere on the Internet. There's always these places, different places you can appear to find new people. Right. And there's always new people who want to learn. Right. So I hope you enjoyed this review. I hope I hope you have a great day and I hope to see you on the other side. Bye.
