Speaker 1: hey welcome to this video and if you arrived here you're probably looking for a ubiquis review sorry if i pronounced that wrong and uh so i'll go over how it works and i'll give you my two cents whether i think this is a good opportunity for you um so if you don't know all all ubiquis is it's a website they offer uh translation transcription interpretation project management and a bunch of other services across all sorts of sectors everything from finance to medical to lifestyle to legal to automotive and it just goes on and on and and they're a top 100 global language service provider um in 2019 they won that award and they were founded in 1991 so usually any website that's been around longer for about five years you can definitely trust them but they've been around for 30 years so just crazy and so it's a complete completely legitimate company but the question you need to be asking yourself is is this a good opportunity for you to make some money online. And that's what I'll be getting into. So the most popular job is transcription. So that's what I'll be focusing on in this video. And for those who don't know, all a transcriptionist, it's just someone who creates written versions of audio or video recordings, meetings and conversations. So and now there is an application process. So So all you need to do is go down to this link to apply. Click apply. It'll take you to this webpage. And then you could select, do you want to work for either U.S. or Canadian clients? I'll just click U.S. and it'll take you to this page. And this is where you sign up or apply. and and they ask for basic things like name and address but also experience level resume they won't want a CV and there's different positions you can apply for so just scroll up well different positions like transcriptionist obviously but so DTP specialist that's just stands for desktop publishing specialist prepare well-designed reports brochures and books so you're basically a designer in some way and these are all pretty self-explanatory but these are the ones you'll probably want to focus on as corporate transcriptionist medical transcriptionist and legal transcriptionist. So you see there's no real general transcriptionist. Well, I guess proofreader, but if you really want to make some serious money, you'll want to focus in there. And so those are the three main categories. And more info on these jobs, just go to this webpage, home services and transcription, and it'll give you everything you want to know about the job so you can see that legal medical uh corporate you can go into that um i won't cover all that in this video but and uh and now they do say on this page i can't find it now but they did say their transcriptionists see average nine years experience now um so they say that i don't know if that's just a marketing gimmick but but if you apply you probably want a bit of experience first So, and, and, you know, graduated from the top universities. Again, I don't, I don't know if this is true, but it's kind of lets you know. Now, as far as the pay, that's probably what you're most interested in. That's what, and it's not clear from going around their website, but just from what I've read on different websites, it's about $0.007 per word, which is $7 per thousand words. So, and obviously it's going to depend on, you know, your typing speed. You know, I would, you should be able to at least type 60 to 70 words per minute while also being a good listener, right? Being able to decipher audio. So those are two skill sets you need to get good at and won't be able to type accurately. And so, yeah, it's interesting. A lot of similar websites, they pay per audio minute. but Ubiquis, they pay for per word. Now you will need some basic tools such as a headset so you can hear the audio as well as a foot pedal that you can pause and start while keeping your hands on the keyboard. So those are the two things you really need. And yeah, as far as the reviews, like on websites like Trustpilot and Glassdoor, the reviews are quite mixed to be honest. some people either really liked it some people hated it so on the positive end people people like the flexibility that they were able to you know design their own schedule work their own hours and the job wasn't too high pressure they found and the staff was quite pleasant so that's on the positive now on the negative the pay is quite low that's a common complaint with these websites so it's good for making you know pizza money i would say but to be able to pay all your bills i think it's going to be quite difficult especially if you live in a first world country right or a western country sorry now now as far as another complaint was bad audio but that's really just the luck of the draw sometimes the accents can be hard to decipher or just the audio quality itself was quite bad so and obviously that's going to slow you down and limit how much money you can make per hour right the last complaint was really no consistency of work so you might get a couple hours here an hour there but it's not like a nine to five job where you where you get the benefit of that you know getting eight hours of work per day you don't even get that benefit so the work can be quite sporadic now uh so yeah the overall verdict i would say although it's a perfectly legitimate website, I don't think it's the path to wealth or financial freedom that probably a lot of you are looking for. Now look, if you're here, maybe you're not necessarily interested in becoming a transcriber or ubiquitous. Maybe you're just here because you want a reliable way to make money online. Well, if that's the case, I was you a little over a year ago I tried all sorts of stuff I tried blogging I tried domain flipping I tried freelancing and I could just never I can never generate uh any money online really all those business models I found they all have their each of the each of them has their own problems which I won't get into in this video but but it never worked out and the only business model I found that really makes sense or really any way to make money online that makes sense to me is something called affiliate marketing now you may have heard of it all affiliate marketing is it's recommending other people's digital products in exchange for a commission and that's how you make money so this is kind of how it looks like so you're going to select a digital product like like an online training course or you know podcasts ebooks but mainly video online video training find a group of people an audience who would be interested in that and uh and kind of merge the two together. Send them to your own simple but valuable content, teaching them a little bit on what they came to learn about in the first place, and then and only then send them to the sales page. And if you do this, most people won't buy from you, but a small percentage will buy from you, and that's how you become profitable. And you can go into any niche, by the way. It's not just Make Money Online. You can go into the weight loss niche, the personal development niche, the how to build a garden in your backyard niche world of warcraft niche i mean it's crazy how many different niches that are personal finance how to improve your credit score it just goes on and on so anything you're interested in um i even saw i even saw a digital product the other day that was teaching people how to freestyle rap so anything you're interested in you can definitely find products to promote in that niche. So don't think you just have to go into the make money online niche and go into any niche you want. And you might be wondering, okay, where do I find these digital products? And that's what I'll get into right now. So there's affiliate networks. These are the most popular, I would say. ClickBank, Digistore24, Warrior Plus, GVZoo, but there's bunch of others or just google you can google you know weight loss affiliate programs or weight loss weight loss digital products and see if they have affiliate programs for example so you'd have to go into research mode if you want to use google but those are really the two ways you can find digital products and now you might be wondering why affiliate marketing you hear all these gurus talk about you know drop shipping drop servicing uh smma starting your own social media marketing agency mlm freelancing well just a few reasons why affiliate marketing is the absolute best business model out there in my opinion so it's very simple there aren't too many moving parts you only have to get good at like one or two things really or really just one just marketing so it's pretty simple it can be mostly automated so once you get everything set up it could be around 80 automated and i don't know of any other business model like that so the profit margins around 50 to 80%, which is actually very high. Freelancing, the profit margins are only around like 20 to 30%, last I read. So just to compare. Lastly, it's the one business model I found where you can truly be a solopreneur. So you can just be one guy or woman on a laptop, making really good money for yourself. You don't have to hire staff. You don't have to partner with anyone. You don't have to have a boss. You just do it all on your own, which is great, right? So what I'm saying right now is kind of piquing your interest uh maybe i'm giving you some aha moments what i suggest is click that link below you get access to a four-day free training series where you're going to learn how to how to do affiliate marketing from a to z it'll just give you the entire blueprint and you can just take it and run with it and you don't have to spend paid money for a thousand dollar course this training is completely free and uh yeah and basically what you'll be learning is how to select products to promote how to generate an endless flow of leads and how to build out your simple sales process that works for you 24 7 on autopilot so you don't have to be there all the time and basically this diagram but it's going to go into a lot more detail than i can go into in this video so so yeah i hope you enjoyed uh this review video of ubiquis um i mean if you're dead set on being a transcriptionist it's definitely a I think it's a good website it's just it's just I don't think you're ever going to be able to you know live off that if you know what I mean so but if you're interested in learning how to do affiliate marketing yeah definitely check out that link below I hope you enjoyed this video I hope you have a great day and I hope to see you all on the other on the other side bye
