Speaker 1: I'll be giving a quick tour of how Microsoft apps integrate with the most popular learning management systems like Canvas, Schoology, Blackboard, Brightspace, Moodle, and more. Our apps include OneDrive, Class Teams, Teams Meetings, OneNote Class Notebooks, and some new updates. So let's get started. I'll start out by showing the primary documentation site for IT admins. I'm here at Microsoft Learn. This is learn.Microsoft.com. I also have links in the description for all of the things you're going to see here. We're going to just put in LTI and go search. The number one return is this one, an overview of Microsoft LTI apps. This is the best place as a starting point. On the left-hand side, it has things like the gateway, which I'll show shortly. It also has a lot of the top LMSs, so Canvas integrations, Blackboard, Moodle, etc. If I open one of these, you'll see direct links to how to set up, for example, OneDrive LTI with Canvas, Microsoft Teams Classes with Canvas. If I go here and open this up, there's a really nice documentation page that shows exactly how to set things up for Canvas specifically as an IT admin. This is a great landing page, this main Microsoft LTI site, and all the other ones are here. Things like Schoology, Desire2Learn, or Brightspace, Moodle, and a lot more. The next thing I want to show is the LMS gateway. Going here, this is how you're going to manage the main LMS gateway for any of our LTI apps. To pull this up specifically, I'm going to open up this site here. This is lti.Microsoft.com. As an IT admin, this is the one that you want to bookmark. This is where you can register LTI apps, things like OneDrive, Teams Meetings, Teams Classes. If you go to the registration portal, you'll have to sign in with your IT admin account. I'm going to click on Go to Registration Portal here. Now I'm signed in to the main registration portal. If you want to add new registrations, you just click this button here as the IT admin, and it'll walk you through how to set these up. This is also what is documented in great detail back on this main page. So if I was going to be setting up my class teams with Canvas and I click here, all of those things are listed in here and how you set it up and get it going along with this gateway. So the LMS gateway, that was that portal that I just showed. All the details about viewing LTI registrations, deleting, editing, et cetera, those are all documented very nicely right in this learn portal. Other things like integrating OneDrive LTI with Canvas, those are all documented here just like I showed. Now the other common one is OneNote LTI. And right now we don't have the main OneNote LTI integrated into our primary documentation. We're working on that. But for those of you that want to set up OneNote class notebooks with LTI, if you go to OneNote.com forward slash LTI, this page comes up. And what's nice here is we have all the little videos that are in great detail how to use these right here as well. So you sign in with your IT admin credentials and it'll walk you through how to set up a class notebook inside of your LMS if you're an IT admin and make it available to all your educators. We also have detailed videos. So for example, if you want to go to Canvas, here's an example and link you to this Canvas video and it will walk you through exactly how to set up OneNote class notebooks with your Canvas LMS. What that looks like when you're done, I've got my Canvas course right here and I'm gonna go to class notebook and I have signed in as an educator. And if I want to set up my class notebook, I'll just sign into OneNote here. And here's my OneNote class notebook creator app. So this is as an educator, how I would set this up. We have other videos on things like Moodle and Schoology as well. Everything is linked from this OneNote.com slash LTI page. So all the little how-to videos are linked right here. Now we're gonna switch over to educators. If educators want to use these tools, I've made a nice little LTI playlist. So things like Moodle integration with Teams, Blackboard and Teams, Teams and Brightspace, setting up Schoology or Teams and Canvas integration. A nice little playlist. The link is on the screen. I also have the link in the description. I've got all of the links I was just showing in the description so you can dive deep into all of this. This is a great playlist to start with. And this is a step-by-step video, for example, on how to use Moodle and Teams if you're an educator. And it's pretty short, four minutes long. You can drill into any of these videos. We've also recently updated and added new pages at our support center for educators. So if you go to support.microsoft.com forward slash education up at the top right here, this is the US site that I'm on. But our support portal, we have new pages. For example, if you search for Canvas and hit enter, the very top page Instructure Canvas Microsoft Support, if you drill into this, this has all the apps that are supported with Canvas. So it's really easy to figure that out. If you're an educator who uses Canvas, you come to this page, you can see the apps right here. And then right here, we have different links. Now, Reflect is coming soon. It's not out yet, but we are going to have a Reflect LTI app but links to OneDrive, Teams Meetings, Class Teams, OneNote Class Notebook, also the IT Admin Deployment Guides. So deploying all these different things as an IT admin, we have all the links here. One of the newer ones that a lot of people aren't fully aware of yet is Flip. So let's open the link to Flip. This talks about features with Canvas integration and LTI with Flip, lots of great information, Canvas LTI FAQs and the setup guide. So a ton of great information on the right hand side, as well as in this main article about how to use Flip with Canvas. So this is the Canvas support page right here. Similarly, if I go back, maybe I'll search for Schoology. So go here and the top one, Schoology Learning, I drill in. I have a very similar type of support page and I go down and I just get the link. So it's very easy to find as an educator or an IT admin, just what you're looking for on an LMS basis. We also put together a main learning management systems integration page on our support site. So right here, same things. Here's the link for the educators, Canvas, Schoology, Blackboard, Brightspace and Moodle, and all the resources for the LMS admins or the IT admins, if you wanna set up LTI. That should give you a nice summary across the board of a lot of the LTI integrations and apps that we have in Microsoft. If you wanna keep up with all the latest Microsoft updates and tips and tricks, subscribe to my channel and then just ring the bell so you get all the latest videos that I post.
