[00:00:00] Speaker 1: What I'm really happy with is that Donald Trump is not okay with the status quo.

[00:00:03] Speaker 2: We need to win in November because I think they're going to try to impeach him.

[00:00:07] Speaker 3: You're open to voting for a Democrat?

[00:00:08] Speaker 2: Of course.

[00:00:09] Speaker 3: We're here in Iowa to talk to voters as Donald Trump marks one year back in the White House. Our group of Trump voters here is fascinating in the sense that we have a couple of die-hard Trump supporters. We have a couple of others. They've broadly given up on politics, especially in faraway Washington. And so even though they have to hold their nose, they vote for Donald Trump because they think they're going to get something that makes their lives better. You have any doubts about this district? Is it in play? It's absolutely in play.

[00:00:36] Speaker 1: There's that saying, Trump was right about everything, and that's kind of how I'm feeling right now.

[00:00:41] Speaker 2: My life is similar, but my optimism is greater because I believe the things that Trump is doing are good for our country.

[00:00:49] Speaker 3: When you talk to friends, even middle-of-the-road Republicans, as you describe yourself, but Do you hear a lot of that, that we're frustrated with the place? We want change?

[00:00:59] Speaker 4: I hear a lot of it. We want change. We want that middle ground, and we want to find a way to move forward together.

[00:01:07] Speaker 3: Democrats think they have an opportunity here. Are you a Republican midterm voter?

[00:01:12] Speaker 4: I'll be a Republican voter. The person that best meets your goals can be a combination of anyone. They are not red or blue, and they are not just one thing. I wish that Washington could get along like House.
