Speaker 1: Logical was founded in 2004 by CEO Andy Wilson and CTO Shen Yang, and from the beginning had a mission to democratize discovery. The Logical platform focuses on simplifying the processes associated with e-discovery through three simple steps, upload, search, and share. Today, Logical is used by government organizations, Fortune 500 corporations, Amlaw 200 law firms, and even by a variety of organizations working on Freedom of Information Act investigations, like the New York Times. And oh yes, Logical is absolutely used by hundreds of small and mid-sized law firms, as well as solo practitioners, including David Slarsky, a New York-based litigator that recently used Logical to find critical information and conversations in Slack data using Logical. Once your data is uploaded and processed in Logical, you can use the filter carousel to quickly and easily pull up a select group of files and documents. For example, you can only select emails, so you're not looking at PowerPoint presentations or audio files, then apply a date range, so that you're only looking at emails sent in 2014. You can also narrow down your list to emails sent by a specific individual. Logical also includes a set of QC tags, or quality control tags, to bring your attention to specific files that have no text or contain hidden comments. They may be password protected or otherwise deserve some special attention. One of the most helpful QC tags is Potentially Privileged, which is applied to every email that has a law firm email address in the send or receive fields. Then you can bulk code those messages as Privileged. While the filter carousel is amazingly helpful, you can certainly root around your documents with keyword searches. You can type right into the large Google-esque search box at the top, or use the Advanced Search Builder, which allows you to easily search within any metadata field. There's also a Bulk Keyword Search, which is extremely helpful if you're arguing with opposing counsel over the list of search terms to use. The bulk keyword tool can run a report to show you exactly how many hits each keyword brings up, so you can show opposing counsel that they're being ridiculous in their demands. When you're done reviewing documents and ready to create a production set, you can easily package up those files in your desired format using the Download Wizard. You can produce natively or in other common formats. You can also apply Bates numbers and other endorsements as you need them. You can download those production sets to your computer, then manually send or transport the collection to opposing counsel on physical media like a CD, DVD, or thumb drive, etc. But to get around this insecure option, Logical developed a unique service called ShareSafe, where production sets can be shared via a secured download link where permission-based access is granted temporarily before automatically expiring. Plus, you can track when the set is accessed and downloaded. For more information, you can visit Logical.com. Thanks for watching.
