+1 (831) 222-8398Speaker 1: How to Analyze Data and Discover Insights in Atlas TI Web After adding your data, you can begin analyzing and pinpointing qualitative insights. Open a specific document and begin with your analysis workflow. Generating quotations, using codes, and adding comments across your documents play a central role in your qualitative analysis process in Atlas TI Web. To create a quotation, highlight relevant text for your research topic in a document. After generating a quotation, you can then apply codes to tag qualitative insights such as perspectives, attitudes, emotions, behaviors, and more that are connected to your research goals. You can also choose codes from a specific code group. You can use code groups to further organize your codes. Once you have created code groups in the Code Manager, you can easily view codes from a particular group while analyzing your documents. Additionally, you can write comments to reflect on a quotation. To remove a code from a quotation, click on an already created quotation, in the margin area, on the right side of an opened document. Click on the three dots in the bottom right corner and click on the Delete Quotation button. If you decide you no longer need a particular quotation, you can always easily delete it from an opened document, as well as from the Code Manager Quotation Manager. You can create as many codes as you would like, and you can create any kind of code name you would like. Most importantly, you can easily create these new codes as you are reading and analyzing your documents. Highlight a relevant segment of text. Type in the name of your new code in the Search Codes field, press the plus button in the Create Code window, or the Enter key on your keyboard to save the new code name. You will then see the new code name appear and toggled on. Press the Create Quotation button to save the new quotation along with the new code attached to it. To create in vivo codes, highlight the word or phrase you want to use as a code name. Click in the Search Codes field, then click on the code name shown under the Create in Vivo code, you will then see the new code name appear and toggled on. Press the Create Quotation button to save the new quotation along with the new code attached to it. An in vivo code means that the exact name of the code comes directly from the data. Finally, you can enable or disable the edit mode and coding mode. Enable edit mode when you are structuring, editing, and writing text in your document. You can still code your data while in edit mode. Enable edit mode to make sure that no changes are accidentally made to the content of the document and disable coding mode if you only want to read and not code your data. Enjoy working with Atlas TI Web.
