Speaker 1: If you have an exemption in any of the subject of group 1 or group 2, let it be at inter-level or final level then don't make this one mistake and if you are planning for exemption in one subject then don't miss out to this important advice. Hi guys, I am CI Sakshak Rawal and welcome to this new video. So after talking to so many students, I have come to this realization that many students have this approach that in one subject, let's say CA final is group 2, then there are 3 subjects DT, IDT and IBS. So if there is an exemption in IBS, let's say 60-65, then they think that I have to get 45-45 in the remaining two subjects and study accordingly. Or if there is a permanent exemption, then you have to score 50-50. So many students study with this mindset and keep their target very low. But tell me one thing that if you have studied with the thought of 45 marks or 50 marks, are you leaving any topic? No, you have to cover all the topics. It is not that if you are thinking of 40-45 marks, then you are only doing selective study, only doing 4 chapters if there are 10 chapters. When you are studying the whole subject, then why are we keeping the target so low that we have to get 45-50 only? Why can't we get an exemption? Why can't we score 70? Keep your target a little higher because what happens is that we think that we have to get 150, then we fall somewhere in the range of 140, 135, 145. How many students are there who come to 148 and get stuck in total? So that should not happen. You keep the target of all the subjects as an exemption. Okay, if I have an exemption in one subject, then it is a very good thing that I have to score less in other subjects. But at the time of your study, do not fall in this mindset that I have to score only 45. If you keep the target of 60, then you will easily score 50. Why should we keep the target low from the beginning, while we are doing our studies, we have to study all the time. It is not that your number of hours has decreased, the number of days has decreased, you are studying the same. So why are we not keeping the target of 60-70? Let's say you are giving CFA group 1 and you are trying for an exemption for FR or for FR-AFM. Then what do we think in the audit? Okay, if 40 comes in the audit, then it will also work. And then that 40 also does not come. Exemption comes in the other two subjects or a good score comes. Above 50 comes, but then we get stuck somewhere in the audit. Either you must have experienced this yourself or you must have seen the marks sheet of many students. So that's why, because we are doing a full study, when the whole subject has to be studied, the whole time has to be studied. So why are we not targeting all the subjects for exemption? Because if you target for exemption, then you will easily fall in the range of 50-60. And you never know that suppose you thought that okay, I have to target for FR, for exemption. What if the FR paper is difficult? What will you do now? In the other two subjects, you studied by thinking 40-40 anyway. In FR, you thought of exemption or 70. And the FR paper is difficult. Or the AFM paper is difficult. What will you do now? That's why, because we are doing a full study, then keep the target of exemption in all the subjects. Okay, the audit is a little difficult for you. Or some other subject is a little difficult for you. Still, we are doing a full study. So why should we keep a low target? And that's why you have to target for exemption in all the subjects. If you already have an exemption, still you will study by thinking of exemption in the other two subjects. This will not cause you to worry about passing. And if you need help in any subject, then you can watch my YouTube video. The status of each subject is already uploaded. Or if you need some personal guidance, then you can go for my mentorship program. You can go for one-to-one counselling session. But make sure that this time you have to keep the target of exemption in all the subjects. And many students can think that last time we could not even get 30. So how will we think of 60 this time? So see, if you got 30 last time, did you study only half this time? No, you are doing full study. You are studying from scratch from the beginning. You are starting from zero. Then why can't you get exemption? Okay, whatever happened last time, if you are starting from the beginning this time, when you are studying from the beginning, then why can't you get 60 this time? Why are you judging yourself on the basis of last time's marks? Okay, then your subject could not be done properly. Or whatever problem you faced, but this time you are rectifying that thing, then why can't you get exemption in that subject? Definitely you can secure. Just keep your target a little bigger. It's not that if you don't get it last time, you still won't get it. You must have seen a lot of students that they jump from 25-30, jump to 60, 70, 80 marks. So did those students think that last time I got so little, so this time also I study only thinking of passing. No, keep the target a little bigger. Okay, you have to study a little more. No, keep the target a little bigger. Okay, if any subject is going difficult for you, then think of 55, but don't think of 40. If you think of 40, then you get 35-38 marks. So what's better than that? Think of a little more marks. Keep your target a little bigger. So that you can secure your passing easily. And you won't have any problem in passing.
