Speaker 1: Get involved, don't just stay in your dorm room. I found the most success joining clubs, so I'm currently the president of ROAR, which stands for Restoration Outreach and Research, and we do several community-based reclamation projects, and from that I've been able to network just throughout my entire college career for internships and then to hook up with jobs and everything like that. So get involved, just do it. For all you incoming freshmen,

Speaker 2: get as involved as possible. I learned this back in high school, the more involved you are in school, more of an enjoyable experience it is overall. Gives you a lot of different perspectives from various groups and individuals across the university's population and really just gives you a more well-rounded experience. Speaker 3: you see in the union, like it may be intimidating, but definitely approach them and see if they'd be of interest to you because they look really good on applications and really good for future job

Speaker 5: resumes. I guess something I like to share with incoming cowboys is to really just take advantage of all the opportunities that the university provides you, all of the RSOs, and that's how you really meet the people that you want to spend your time with.
