Speaker 1: A lot of the times, my weekly newsletter is actually taken from the audio that I use and I say off the cuff and then turned into a transcription that I use as an email newsletter. Lucky for me, great softwares like print exists that can transcribe, create and share different files in up to 31 languages. So I'm going to jump right into the software and show you an example of what this can do for me. So if I go here and upload and then select, and then I find the podcast that I want to use. Now what you can see here is I selected a file that was on my computer, but you could also take things from Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, Cloud Drive, OneDrive, or even record a video. And you can also upload multiple at a time. So I'm going to press upload here. Okay. So once it finishes uploading, you'll have it ask you whether you want to send it to the vocal builder, detect speaker change and add it to whatever workspace you want. So the vocal builder lets you create a list of custom words that make your trends more accurate. This will only apply to future transcripts. This detect speaker change is great for people who are uploading files with multiple different people in the conversation. You also have the option to choose what language is being spoke. I am doing it in English American spelling and British spelling is different than that. So if I press transcribe here, it'll upload it. And then it'll give me an alert and tell me when it's ready to use. So as you can see here, it is currently transcribing. So after it finishes transcribing, it'll look like this and that lock symbol will go away. So I can left click on this. It'll open up the transcription. This gives you a transcribed version of what was said. So as I click through the various spots on this text, it'll actually show the timeline here as well. So if I go here, press play, allow yourself to go and do it wrong. I have the ability to change different things here. So I can change that to allow yourself to here, and then that fixes that. So if I go here, allow yourself to go and do it wrong. Don't expect to always get it right. It will, and I had an error here. So I can do is delete that text from here and do it wrong. Don't expect to always get it right. It will prevent you from doing anything. And the reason that it actually has these periods here is because I had a pretty large pause. So it will prevent you from doing anything. So it's actually not the transcription software that caused the error. It's me just absolutely taking forever to stutter and do that. You can press control space to press play and improve 1% every day. It's going to take some work, but what I learned from the compound effect and from my own experience can help you on your road to improving yourself. So as you see, when I speak clearly and there is none of me stuttering, there is a very good transcribed file here. So what I can do is take this and adjust it to my needs so that I can take some small tweaks here to the different formatting that happens in something like an email newsletter, where I can separate it into different paragraphs. It works like a normal text editor. So it's pretty easy to do this. And then also I can go through and change any of the grammar that I messed up like a normal text editor would. Or if I have specific vocabulary that I want to add to this software, I could use this add to vocabulary builder option. I can add this, the weekly pour over to vocab. And yes, I want to add that as it is a sort of word that I'm going to consistently use. Now there are going to be some situations where you have to change things like pounds, the currency to pounds, the unit of weight and add some specific things like grammar. But the nice thing is if you have something like grammarly, it can easily just fix it for you. I can also highlight different sections if I want. So if I highlight the different steps, I could press highlights, turn it to yellow, green, red, purple, blue, and then it'll show you here the different highlight durations that are there. Another great thing about this software is I've wanted to create some captions to go along with this. Say this was a YouTube video audio file. I could press create caption and it would take the transcription to that next level and showcase a transcribed closed caption would allow you to see it in this timeline file and edit it here. So if I go to any part of this, something that is more concrete and that we can then move forward with. For me, a goal that I have is to post daily on different platforms. As you can see, it is really nice and has the exact accurate in, out time, duration, and the words. This is something that can be really useful when doing something like uploading audio files to YouTube. Because if I export this and exported it to an SRT file, so I could download this file here. Then if I upload a file from here to YouTube with timing, I could add this and it would actually allow you to have all of that transcription come right into YouTube. Now that's not the right video, so I'm not going to actually do that. But you can see that this can be used to take one podcast and say I wanted to turn that into a newsletter and into a YouTube video.
