Speaker 1: Hey guys, welcome or welcome back to my channel in today's video. I'm gonna be sharing with you guys a plan with me video I'm gonna be showing you guys how I plan my deadlines for my academic school semester and Show you guys how I do that So the first thing I will be showing you guys is the planner I'm using I'm gonna be using an 18 month planner It starts from July 2021 to December 2022. This is my first time using a 18-month planner, and this is also my first time using Happy Planner. The only thing I don't like about this planner is I accidentally picked up the vertical one. I always like using the horizontal layout, and I accidentally picked up the vertical layout, so that's a bummer, but I'm just gonna use it for the 18 months, um, and yeah, so just going to show you guys what I'm going to be using to plan with me. The first thing I have is a sticker book, Life is Art, Live Yours in Color, and this is from Erin Condren. Inside, I also bought these stickers, these payday stickers, and these dot stickers with the dates on them from plannerkate.com, and it also came with other stickers too, so I'm going to use some of these when I'm planning. This one came in my agenda last year. This was the academic planner that I got from Erin Condren. So when you open it, it will have a welcome to happy planner section just telling you what the layout is of your planner. Then this page will be whatever the year calendar is, year name, you just write it down. This page has the year 2001 and 2022. So this area of the planner, what I normally do is I use dot stickers. These ones are the ivory see-through color coding stickers. I normally just put them on important dates, whatever is due. If I have an overlapping class, which I don't in this semester, then I would cut two separate colors and put them half together. So the yellow would be for the computer class because I have a lot of stuff in that class. And for the medical office procedure class, I will be using the blue. Other classes I'm going to do off camera, but I'm just going to show you guys how I set up my planner for these two classes and then the rest I'll do off-camera. These are color coding labels. I normally use these when I have certain assignments or deadlines I need to do and I put it- I stick it inside the sections of the planner. So for my first class, the medical office procedures, I'm going to start with that one because there's less things to do but it's still a heavy course because there's a lot of reading and a lot of assignments. a lot of parts to one assignment even though it's literally just saying assignment one, assignment two, assignment three. So I'm just going to sticker where this specific course has a deadline. So for that I'm going to be using one of these and we're going to be using the yellow ones. They're like transparent. Class, I have my syllabus at the side using as a reference. So for the first class class, it says assignment one is due on Tuesday, October 19th would be right here Next one is Tuesday, November 16th. Next one is December 14th So this one has This date, there is an overlapping of what's due, so for this date, an infection control quiz is due the same day as this date for the assignment. So the reason why I didn't use two different color-coded stickers for an overlap was just because, even though there's a lot of things due that day, it's only for one class. And it's the same class, so that's why I don't have an overlapping sticker for those. depth part of the planner, what is due that day. So I won't not know what's on that day because I would just double check. So there's like 12 pages for this assignment, 30 pages for this assignment, and like 80 pages for this assignment. So even though it's like, it seems like it's not a lot, it's a lot because I have the course outline and I have also each task that you have to do for each assignment with an exam at the end, which is on the 21st, which I'm gonna put a sticker, and that's worth 40% of your mark. So I'm gonna also get my other syllabus for the other class because that has a lot of stuff to do and complete inside of it. Okay, for my next class, it's a part two to Microsoft Office. At the beginning of 2021, I did introduction to Microsoft Office. This is Microsoft Office, which is super tedious. There's so much things in this one course. I have the outline. It's like so much pages of work you have to do on Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word as well. You have so much little stuff to do on it and then send it in to add up to your final grade before your exam. And there's four parts to this program. There's four exams in this one part of the program. So it's the most annoying thing ever, but I'm so happy that this is the final computer class that I will have to be doing in this course. Okay, so for Microsoft Word, I switched it. So I'm gonna use a blue color for that. There's something due on September 27th, 11th, literally the week after. There's so much in the one week you have to do. So that's why right now I'm already in the middle of October's stuff that needs to be handed because with college, there's so much stuff that you have to do that's due on one day. You could easily get behind really quickly. Always work ahead no matter what. The next thing that is also due, so on October 18th, October 25th, if you guys hear anything like stapling going on in the background, my dad is working on a chair in the garage. November 29th, December 6th. Also something due on December 16th, December 21st, which December 21st is the final day of class, and I have to make sure everything is submitted and the exam is completed before the 21st. ♪ I have these on the important dates it doesn't really show and that's where I would go in to the actual calendars and then write in on each day what is due that day. So I don't hand anything late. So this is the next page after the whole yearly for the two years. This is just a area that you could write the important dates for each month. So it goes to how much days is in the month. This is January to all the way to December. So I'm going to go all the way to october because i already started planning out september. so i got these planner kate stickers. this one is for paydays. i got two i got two of those payday stickers and then these ones are for to change the color of each of these of the dates because they are a little bit boring And I like to make my cut my planners very pretty so we're gonna use we're gonna use the blue one Sorry, I have wrinkly fingers. I got it from my dad. He has wrinkly fingers Stick them down like that and then i'll be right back So that's what it looks like after I added all the stickers The reason why there's a sticky note there is because i'm covering up an appointment that I have which exposes the address So that's why i'm covering it and after that. I normally write in my work schedule and also in this area and the areas I write down what is due that day just by following the course outline for certain classes. So that's what I filled out for the computer class, all the stuff that's due week after week. Apparently everything is always gonna be due on a Monday in this class. There's something due every week so I just have to open up my agenda and make sure I know what is due before what, but that's what I do for that. But because I don't really care about computer classes, I know it's important to know what to do on a computer with Excel and stuff, but it's not really my importance in my opinion. All I care about is the main thing, which is the medical side. For my next courses, I'll be using colourful either the Staedtlers, if I'm even pronouncing that properly. The fineliners or the irincondrin markers, there's a dual- there's a fine tip and a fat tip. So I like using these markers to make my notes look pretty and also my agenda. So I'm going to go ahead and do that off camera. So now that I'm done reading but writing down the important dates for this month, I'm going to go in the actual weekly view and write down important dates in this area. Now I'm going to go in with the stickers. These are the S-308 sticker bill due stickers and this is what I'm going to use the side of each month to write in what bills I have to pay that month and what dates do. So now these stickers are there I will add off-camera what they are used for. So my phone bill, my Netflix account, and my benefits, I do have to pay monthly because I'm not under my parents anymore. So yeah, that's my main bills that I have to pay. And I did, what I did off-camera was I filled in all the dates for each month. Now I still have other classes to fill in, so I'm just letting you guys know it looks a little sparse but there's still a lot of stuff I have to add which I'm going to do off-camera the video would be way too long so yeah I have a lot of stuff to add but I did add the stickers on it each of the months I added sticker dot dates but and then these are the ones from these are the planner Kate stickers that I used from her website everything will be linked in my description of everything I used and or whatever I have like what type of stickers I have to do my planning and stuff so check in that check in the description box for that I use one of these stickers for just to state that that's the last day of class in December and then I have to go and register for the next semester after two I go in and I write all the dates all my work schedule, all my appointment dates, all the stuff that's due on that date whether it's bills or whatever, that's what I write on that. yeah I also write video ideas for the coming weeks in this but I didn't do that because again I want you guys to like wait and see what I'm gonna post a video about next instead of knowing before I post it. so yeah I'm a very organized person I like things done in a very neat and tidy way and I'm very organized with how I do my work because I like to work ahead of time so that anything that needs to be handed in I don't have a burnout moment where I'm struggling to think well why did I not finish this it should have been done weeks ago so I don't give myself a burnout I do things as soon as I see the program course outline I start doing assignments and tests and all those stuff before it's due and have them in because the time when you procrastinate is a time when things build up and you're gonna really have a hard time when you move on to the next thing because the class has already passed you 20 weeks ago so or 14 weeks ago because like it's only 14 weeks in a semester I know for us in Canada that's how it is but yeah you have to be organized because only organized people are the ones who know how to manage their time because they know how to work with what they have and how to do it in an orderly fashion so yeah I hope you guys enjoyed this video don't forget to comment like share and subscribe and don't forget to turn on that Bell notification so you'll never ever miss an upload for me and I'm just gonna let you guys know that because I am back in school, content is gonna be spread out. I'm not sure the next time I'm gonna be able to post right now because of the heavy workload just being subscribed to the channel and just waiting on another upload whenever I am able to do so. It means a lot and if anyone wants to know the planner I'm using, again it's the Happy Planner. So, bye.
