Speaker 1: Welcome to my Otter AI tutorial. In this video, I'm going to show you how to use Otter AI to transcribe. It's pretty straightforward and you can follow along with me right now. So first things first, if you ever want to record something, I'm just going to show you how to do that. Like I'm talking to you right now. Simply what you can do is go to your record button and don't worry, I'm going to show you a couple of other ways you can do it as well. So you want to click on record right here. And as you can see, it's going to be going right immediately. So it's going to bring everything up. I'm not typing this, of course, it's just showcasing it. Let me talk about something a little bit different so that we can search for it later if needed. So websites can be a very valuable aspect of your online marketing. In fact, it's great that you can not only showcase your expertise, but most importantly, help others who need help in terms of your specific niche or expertise or whatever it's going to be. Despite the fact that you might not have laser focus on your website, what it allows you to do is this showcase a lot of articles that can be found on your website. So if you're looking for something that's going to help you out, you can generate leads, you can generate sales. Maybe you want to send someone to a webinar. Websites are just overall great for accomplishing a lot of different types of micro goals. Plus you can monetize them, whether it be with your own offers, advertisements, or just affiliate offers in general. All right, so I had clicked on stop at the bottom there. And as you can see, once it is done is going to be going into my conversations on the left side. So I did just want to back out there and go to that. So what I can do now is click on this, all right, so here's the cool thing about this. It talks about in the beginning, how we have a summary right here. There's going to be some action steps where it says, consider ways to help others through articles on your website. You can add another action step if needed. Obviously, maybe you want to check that off. If you've gone through it, you can delete it as well. It also gives us an outline. So while this was only, as it says right here, 59 seconds, imagine you had something that was much longer. It's great to get the outline of it. And this is how Otter can help you save so much time because say that was 59 minutes and you're just getting a quick outline that you can read in one or two minutes. That's going to be very valuable. I'm not going to read through these, but you can see what it has to say. It looks pretty good. Just kind of skimming over it, right? We do have transcripts as well. So this is going to be what I said right here. I was kind of just going with the flow, right? You can click on here in case you want to change the speakers. So if you had a different speaker's name, you can do that. There's also going to be a highlight section. So if there's anything specific that you wanted to bring up, what you can do is just go over it. Like you're going to be copying and pasting it. And once simply click on highlight, just like that. It's a great way. It's kind of like if you were reading a book and you found something really good in there and you wanted to really save that, remember it for later, come back to it. That's just another way of doing that. Overall, it's pretty straightforward, a very big time saver. And of course there's other ways to transcribe. So let's go back over here to home. And what I want to do here is that I took a very quick video. I'm going to go to import here at the top, right? So you can import audio or video files. What I'm going to do is drag and drop. I have a video that I created on YouTube and I just 30 seconds long. I'm just going to copy that or excuse me. I'm just going to go to browse files and open that up. You can see the file extensions that you can use right here as well. All right. So it's called lander.mp4. It's just talking about the benefits of a landing page, what it is, the first 30 seconds of it. So it's going to be done right there. We can go to transcript here. All right. So here we are on the transcript. It's only going to be 33 seconds long. And just looking at it very quickly, it looks good. Talking about landing pages designed with a single focused objective for marketing or advertising campaign. Of course, what you can do as well is click play. So what is the landing page and how does it work? I'm not going to play all of that because then I can't talk. It's going to talk over me. But once again, if you go back over here, it also has a summary for you. So if you uploaded a file that's much longer, it's just going to bring out some of the best features and aspects of this specific transcript. So it talks about the topic, asking about the landing page and its functionality. And you will notice it says James Canzanella. So when this is by me, so if you change this out to someone else's name, obviously that would be different. He explains that a landing page is a standalone web page. It's an interaction for visitors who click on links and unlike regular web pages, so on and so forth. Pretty cool, right? You can also ask questions about this conversation, which I'm going to get to next. But I do want to show you how to export it so that if you do create this, you can save it as well. So that's pretty straightforward. In order to save slash export it, what you want to do is go to the top right. I'm just going to go show you the transcript. We can go here and we can do export. All right. So this is pretty straightforward. When we go to transcribe it, the file format here, you can do clipboard, you can do text. And if you have pro, you can do doc X, PDF or SRT. That's going to be up to you. We also have the ability to toggle on and off some of the options here. We can show speaker names, which you could probably keep if you want to show timestamps, not a whole lot going on here since it's just one little paragraph. If there's a much longer, that'd probably be more beneficial. So probably just take that out, right? Combine paragraphs of the same speaker. So that's helpful. Just me. If there was more than that, probably be a lot better, right? So you can easily tell when someone's going to be speaking and when someone else is going to, plus you have the name there to make it even better. Combine all paragraphs into one. There's not a lot here. So if there was much more than that, I probably wouldn't do it. Then it would read like a college essay where it's hard to read takeaways. There's no takeaways. And if you want to utilize audio here, we have the file format of MP3 and last but not least would simply be clicking on export and you would be good to go. So I did talk about the AI chat with the Otter AI right here, which is pretty cool. This is going to be much more beneficial once you get going and you have a lot of transcripts under your belt, but let me just showcase that very quickly. Let's go back over here. And as you can see, this is going to talk about anything that you have already done. So I wanted to do this towards the end so that we actually have some transcripts. What you can do is ask about, say, I did a transcript talking about landing pages. Why are they so valuable? So it's one of those ways of saying, oh, I remember I got those notes from that meeting. I know they were talking about landing. Pages, but what was the biggest aspect of why were they so beneficial? Let's do something like that. So as it says, ask anything about your conversations. All right. So there was a conversation about landing pages. What are they and why are they important? I'm going to click on and enter here. This is looking across your conversations, so this is like Chat GPT in Otter where it knows your conversations and it's going to help you get to them quicker. Think of it if you had a book library of, just say, all this important business information and this was able to go in there and say, where was it? Where did you do this? Where's the Town Hall or where did you until you're not getting there? Here's where it is where your information is. Where is it where was it when you're « intent they talked about, you know, one of the best ways to grow your business is say, leveraging social media traffic. What specific conversation was that about? And it's going to go through and find it for you. So, all right, so here's what it came up with. I'm going to read some of it just to kind of showcase a little. So it's their standalone web pages designed specifically for marketing or advertising campaigns. Now, if I open this in the new tab, it's going to go to that note, which is fantastic. This is the summary here. And of course we had the transcript as well. So it'll bring you to it as well. It talks about the purposes and why they're important and so on and so forth. And then from there, you can ask a follow-up. You can do what are some common calls to action used on landing pages and so on and so forth. Now, for example, if you just wanted to get rid of that, you can do delete question and answer in case you wanted to know how to do that. Let's just say we're going to search for something related to websites. Let's do that next for one more example. All right. So what about websites? Why are they important? And as you're going to see, while there's only two transcripts in here, once you start piling them up, this is going to be it. A great way to just kind of like cycle through them, talk about the benefits, bring up the specific note right here and then go from there. So a nice little time saver overall. And this otter.ai tutorial is just about complete. I did want to showcase one other way where you can utilize this to create transcripts. And what you can simply do is paste your meeting URL right here to record if needed. Now, in case you're curious about what type of meetings you can utilize, let me show you very quickly. All right. And this is one that's going to be much easier to do since I don't have anything to do with it. So I'm going to go ahead and do that. So I'm going to go ahead any specific meetings up and running. Plus, that would be the one recording, I think, two times right in speaking. So there might have been a lot of echo and I didn't want to go through that process. But this is just going to show you very quickly. So as we talked about right here, we have the paste meeting URL to record and you can manually add OtterPilot to your Zoom, Google Me or Microsoft Team Meetings. To do so, follow the steps, copy the meeting URL once you have it and click the paste meeting URL to record field in the upper corner right there. That's where it's going to showcase. Once you paste it in there, you're going to be able to record your meeting. Simply click on enter or return on the microphone icon to the right. OtterPilot will join momentarily. It might take a few minutes to join, but once it has, you will see OtterPilot in your participant list. So that's just going to be the third and other way that you can do it. I'm not going to actually walk you through this one, but it's pretty self-explanatory once I showed you how to do it the previous ways. But nevertheless, that's going to conclude this Otter.ai tutorial. I hope that it helped you out in terms of being able to get up and running with this and, of course, using it to save a ton of time if you have to deal with a lot of other things.
