+1 (831) 222-8398Speaker 1: Perceive the Movie, an audio description campaign for the blind. My daughter Madeline was born in 2005 with an eye condition called anephthalmia. She not only was born blind, but had no eyeballs or any optic nerve tissue. Over the last seven years, I've learned to perceive the world in a new way, without sight. Visually impaired children like Madeline rely primarily on sound and touch each day to learn and socialize and play. But when Madeline was five, we learned she could only hear from her left ear because a nerve was missing. None of these challenges have held Madeline back from becoming the beautiful and intelligent little girl she is today, with a dry sense of humor and a never-ending love for music.
Speaker 2: Can I do it before you go back? Okay, go ahead and do it. Where do you start? I start with C for sweet.
Speaker 3: Okay, go ahead then.
Speaker 2: Do you watch me? Mm-hmm. Okay, well then, listen. After I play, listen, listen. Watch me while I play it. Mm-hmm, go right ahead. Okay. First, I start with C. Okay. Start with G. I try to start with A, Hillary. Go ahead and play it. Very good, Madeline. That was great. You did it. Are you proud? Yeah. Yeah. What sticker do I wear? Do you need a sticker? Yeah. All right, I'll get you one. Great job.
Speaker 1: As Madeline's mother, I work every day to make the world a more accessible place for her and others. Please join me in this lifelong mission by supporting the audio description campaign, Perceive the Movie. Every voice, every signature, every face helps ensure accessibility for kids like Madeline. Together, we can give them the world. Thank you for stepping up.
Speaker 3: Ride the chocolate milk, okay? I want you to walk. I want you to try your very hardest, okay? Okay? I want you to walk as far as you can. Ready? Go. Keep going. You got it. You got it. Keep going straight.
Speaker 2: Yay. Look, you made it. You made it.
Speaker 1: Thank you for watching www.PerceiveTheMovie.com.
