[00:00:14] Speaker 1: All right, I think we should be good to go. This will also be recorded, so hopefully if anyone joins late, it can also be sent out. I think we've got a good group in now. Well, appreciate everyone joining. I'm going to start here with a quick introduction, go over the agenda, and then just kind of jump right into it. But appreciate all of our public defender teams joining today and going over integrity indicators that never seem to slow down. And we'll jump right into it. So quick agenda, just introductions, a walkthrough, and then as we go through this, if any questions come up at the bottom of your screen, there should be a Q&A bar. Those are free to submit any questions, and we'll cover those at the end of it. So I'm Will Weiss. I'll be running the webinar today for you. I'm an account executive here and work with a lot of our public defender teams and public sector teams on how to leverage Rev, how to adopt it within your team, and just going to showcase today what Rev can look like in your guys' workflows. Awesome. I'm going to jump over to Rev and then have a quick introduction and then we can get started. So what you're seeing here today is Rev. I think just to kind of level set before jumping in, like I said, I work with a number of our public defender clients. They all have really a similar story of more cases coming in that they have to take on. Attach those cases as more and more evidence. That evidence isn't just, you know, body cam footage or a couple of police reports or images. It's all of that information included in those case files that seems to keep growing and growing and growing. These are public defenders do not have 100 hours in a day or, you know, adequate tools to kind of go through these and speed up their processes, which ends up, you know, being very hard to deal with these cases. And like I said, again, they're growing and growing and growing, so there's really no end in stop. So we hear them loud and clear, and I'm going to go through how Rev can implement into that and how it can streamline your process from getting that case on your desk that has all those different types of forms of media and streamlining that process to getting into something usable, workable, and just kind of leading you to the most important parts to kind of take away that part of your day that sucks and is all just like a lot of admin and not the sexy part of your day. But let's jump into it. So this is Rev, and this is the homepage. So what I'm going to be showcasing is kind of the workflow from raw evidence into Rev and then working on that stuff from there. So depending upon how you guys store your files today, easy to get them into Rev. So we do have integrations into Google Drive. We also have integrations into Dropbox, Box. If you don't have any of these, easy to jump to your computer and just upload that way as well. So that's step one of this workflow that we want to kind of help speed up for you, which is getting them in. Once they're into Rev from there, you can direct these into your My Files, or if you have an enterprise version of your account and you have different team members working on specific cases, you can direct these into workspaces. So these could be a client's name, maybe a group or team that is handling these cases on a daily basis that you want to jump into, just a way to organize them and route them so that you can start your adventure with your teammates or just by yourself. So the first case we're going to be showing the workflow is going to be a DUI case. So as you can see here, you can set up different folders and create different organization depending upon what level or how you want to do that. So we'll jump into this case here. So this gives a good glimpse into what a case will look like once it's in a Rev for the first time. So you'll have your different PDFs associated with this DUI, we've got a couple of images attached in here, and of course, the fun part of the different body cams that you're going to have to review. So once it's in here, nice to see a quick summary, you know, a lot of the times when these files come over to you, they have bizarre letters, numbers, stuff that doesn't make sense to the PDF or the video or audio or image, so easy to get a quick summary here. You can then rename those easily here with this rename button. Another thing to call out, you can also tag certain things. So maybe the name of this one's okay, so I'll give it a green, this one needs to be renamed, and you can just kind of tag from there and organize your evidence how you'd like. So I think the big part with our public defenders is the first search that we would recommend doing is going to be a gap search. So I got my evidence in here, but a lot of the times you don't know if you have all the evidence associated with the case, or if there's evidence referenced across all these different files, how do I know that I have the entirety of the caseloads? That's going to be our first search today. So I'm going to hit this button up here, select all of the different files associated with the case, and then I'm going to jump in and click this analyze button. So this analyze button is going to take me into RevInsights, which is our multi-file search. And for this first search, like I mentioned, I'm going to do a gap search. So you see here, this is going to identify missing, outstanding, and potentially withheld evidence as our first search. So click that. And what that is going to do is just search across these files listed over here. Rev is a closed-loop system, so all of our LMs and AI that's leveraged in here is only going to be tailored and looking at these specific files. Everything is encrypted and personalized to your account. So as you see here, it's going to start off, it's going to give me a reference but absent from these files. And the prompt that we use today, that's also something that your team here at Rev can help you with. So if there's specifics that you want to see in these outputs or prompts or specifics that you want to see in these searches, that's something we have resources to customize to your workflow because every team is different. Every person is different with how they want to look at these cases. So as you see here, it's going to give me a read of what was missing. It's also going to timestamp the evidence of where this is answering from. So everything is cited, which is really going to eliminate the big keyword that we hear a lot is hallucinations. Hallucinations are in AI or AI systems when you see those reports online of AI creating something or referencing something fake, Rev eliminates that problem by citing every single answer. So the human can come in yourself and view and read this information. Just here, you can cite, it'll pull you, so this came from a investigation report. This answer also came from a body cam. So all this referenceable and you can take those and view them. A couple of section headings we have here, expected but absent, so lots of different pieces of this search. And then from here, you could either draft this entire answer into a document if you'd like, or what I like to do is ask Rev to please list the case and make me a memo. That's another area that Rev continues to spam upon is document creation. So you see here, just ask him to create this into a memo. And then once this is done, I'll give a view of that. And then this is something that you can save onto your laptop, share to another teammate, or also just turn this into a document where you can send off to ask them for the additional evidence that you're missing from this case. So we'll give a second for that to complete, and we'll move on to the next step of the workflow. And also with this prompt, we have some flags to records that release this, but were not produced, so we should log a jurisdiction note. And here we go. We got our memo created here, created this graph here that's going to be the evidence currently in hand with timestamps in each of those individual pieces of evidence. And then it's now going to give me an outstanding evidence that I need. So just a quick and easy way to get that raw evidence into something usable and something to go quickly through your case from there. We got some field records for bookings, key factual summary, then all this can be edited. So if you want to make any changes, easy to do so, can kind of think of this as like a Microsoft Word or Google Doc. And then you can either, with this button up here, you can remove citations. So all these, again, everything will be cited to the evidence that you have. Then when I'm ready, you could export this as a report or a PDF. So next, we're going to pretend that I went and got those files. You can then add those in here, upload from your device, or choose them, push them into Rev from there. And then the next thing I'm going to want to make is going to be a motion for suppression. So this is going to be my first draft. I'm just going to click this button. Again, this is going to be the next template in our workflow. It's going to create me this suppression motion. And once this is done being created, it'll be that first draft that we leverage. And then, again, these templates that we're leveraging in here. You can always work with us. So this suppression likely will not be exactly what you're looking for. It might only get you 25% of the way. But with our team, our goal is to get you 50% or 75% of the way there with your motion. So then you can come in and just speed up your process. Because as we know, as public defenders, a lot of these cases that we do aren't going to go to trial. And it's going to be with part of these motions to suppress.

[00:12:46] Speaker 2: Give us a couple more seconds.

[00:13:30] Speaker 1: All right. We'll have the document completed here. Obviously, a little bit of an awkward silence there. But think about how long this would take you from getting those raw evidence and then into this sort of motion for suppression. So very quick in terms of what we've just done there. We'll give you a view of what the suppression outline looks like over here. Obviously, this is more of a generic template that ourselves here at Rev have created. But this can always be adjusted in tune to what you're doing, again, to get you further along in your report process. So the different sections here, statement of facts. And also to call out all these areas will be timestamped. You can always run back and understand why it was listed there.

[00:14:22] Speaker 2: Have some good quotes. Got the conclusion.

[00:14:39] Speaker 1: All that stuff. It's also great. All these big thing is leveraging AI. All of our prompts down here are going to outline this was created by AI. So it's never going to be that final draft. But it's something to get you 50% or 75% of the way there. We also just added as well. So syncing of when you make any changes here. So as you're making the different changes, easy to edit, adjust, come back to later, understand the changes you made. And then once you're ready to go and move on and export this, you can say this is a PDF or a Word doc, continue your edits if needed, or just send that off after you've checked and made sure everything's good there. So that's one workflow to show all of your files. So we'll have the inventory here and also the suppression motion here. So it'll be saved here. You can always share these, export them, rename them, or just add them into your case file. So if we were to go back there, you can have just everything there, your documents and along with all the evidence. Awesome. And then one other case workflow to show, we're going to jump back to our workspace. We're going to go in here to a officer-involved shooting. I should go with this one. So this is another example of a case. Again, this one is more heavy on the PDF review. We only have the one body cam in here. So again, we're going to do a Rev Insights search. And the other area that is very, very helpful is going to be a case chronology. So here you can see the files that we looked at. Again, Rev was very well known for our transcription. But now we've gotten to a place where the PDFs are very, very heavy and intensive. We can also take those. So if this would be in a scenario, you know, you get your case, you feel confident that all the evidence is within this one. We didn't have to do the gap search. So we're going to start with the case chronology just to get an understanding of the timeline of events. So as you can see, this prompt is going to show you all of the materials viewed and then get into a chronological timeline. Again, to call out if you're on with our enterprise team or enterprise plan, this could be adjusted. So I'm sure each of you has a certain cadence that you want to follow or certain information that you're suited in case chronology. Easy for us to adjust those and help you from there. So again, each of the events listed out, all this information is going to be timestamped. So if I wanted to jump and understand this from this PDF report or another PDF answer, you can go through all these answers here. And then we have a key evidence by event. And then, you know, going through here, the next thing after this would be part of workflows. Maybe I want to jump into the body cam to get a better view of that. Easy to jump in here. Click on this view transcript. And then this is what the transcript view will look like. You'll have the video up here. You'll have the different speakers listed out here along with the entirety of the transcript. And then if you'd like, you can come in here, adjust different speaker names. So there's obviously a ton of speakers here in bulk. Edit those by here. Change any of those around. The other very, very helpful feature here is going to be this Revit iChat. So this is when you're looking at a single transcript. If you're like, hey, when was the brand said, you know, when did any of these suggested problems have? Very similar to the Revit Insights we were showing. You can click on any of these. And then I'll go through, again, Revit is closed loop. So only going to answer off of the transcript provided here. And all of the answers will be time stamped again, as you can see here on the left-hand side. And then you can continue the chat with it. Just really a ping-pong back and forth of asking the chat different questions. Every video, audio is obviously going to be different, how different things you're looking for. Very easy to drill down into a single transcript and find those. So after I do that, I have an understanding of the timeline. I've drilled down into the body cam. The next key search that a lot of a lot of the public is going to use is going to be the inconsistency search. So this one I'm going to ask Rev, please make me a clear fucking spell.

[00:19:35] Speaker 2: Please search the evidence from a perspective. Click search here.

[00:19:59] Speaker 1: And again, this is going to draft this into a document. If I just wanted it to do another search somewhere, this would just ask it to create just a search, not the document as well. But again, just want to show you getting that raw evidence that we have in this case, getting into something usable, searchable, and workable. Just another thing to call as well, I think the case files I've shown today, I've had in that range of like 15 to 10 files. With our enterprise, you can do up to 500. So when you do get those cases that have massive amounts of evidence, very easy to sort through. And these searches, again, can apply to a lot of different things. So I'm going to go ahead and click search here. And again, I'm going to ask Rev, please make me a clear spell. Massive amounts of evidence. Very easy to sort through. And these searches, again, can apply to all those different pieces of evidence. Look through, you know, up to that 500 limit and really help streamline the process for you. All right, get the search done here. So again, this is going to be an inconsistencies analysis. So really great to build your case upon, get an understanding of the inconsistencies between all the police reports, the body cams. If there's any images that kind of don't align with the body cams or the police reports, also can look at those as well. And another cool thing that Rev can do as well is he can look at the body cams, and another cool thing that Rev can do as well. So for example, if I wanted to edit this part and have Rev Insights, you know, build upon what was listed there, you can also ask, you know, please expand this section. So it'll go through, just give you an answer or an edit to just this area. But very helpful and cool if you wanted to expand it, condense it, maybe ask for more context, those sorts of things. And then once it's done producing the expansion, it'll give you a little approve or accept, accept or deny your functionality.

[00:22:29] Speaker 2: And then we've got some systems gaps.

[00:22:33] Speaker 1: So here we go. So this is going to be the expansion section. It'll show you what the previous answer was here in red, and then the green area is what would be accepted. So I'm going to go ahead and accept that, just gave a little more of expansive answer there. And then again, once I'm done editing, if you wanted to remove these areas and have this was more finalized coffee to add back into your case files, easy to export as a Word doc, PDF, share, or just save into that caseload. Awesome. So that is about it. Sherry, if you want to jump into the questions, happy to do so.

[00:23:15] Speaker 3: Yeah, awesome. Thank you, Will. That was great. We do have a couple of minutes left. So we'll go ahead and go into Q&A. The first question that we have is with the bad stories of AI hallucinations, how is Rev equipped to handle or detect AI hallucinations? To handle or decrease hallucinations?

[00:23:35] Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely. Let me share my screen right now.

[00:23:41] Speaker 1: Yeah, so I mean, I touched upon this a little bit in what we did today. So hallucinations are, you know, obviously when AI is creating evidence or creating case law or things that isn't real and isn't a part of a case. So where Rev is really different in this area is, A, we cite every single answer that we have back to the evidence that you give. And then B, it's a closed-loop system. So the elements that we leverage in your account are not connected to the internet. They're not going to search across all of your files. It's going to be tailored to either that single transcript view or in Insights, the selected files you have on the right-hand side. So it really just eliminates that problem in its entirety by assigning sources and being a closed-loop system that isn't creating random stuff.

[00:24:31] Speaker 3: Awesome, thank you. And then the next question that we have is, does Rev have any offerings exclusively for public defenders?

[00:24:40] Speaker 1: We do. We have heard this loud and clear from our public defenders. So we do have discounted pricing for our enterprise plan. We also have extended trial runs. So a lot of the time we hear from public defenders that this needs to be proven. Obviously, if you're going to be giving money towards this effort, budgets are tight, headcount is tight. So we're happy to prove that this is going to work and fit into your workflows and provide a lot of value for your teams. So those are the two differences. There's going to be a discounted pricing and also the free trial runs.

[00:25:14] Speaker 3: Awesome, thank you. And then our last question that we have is, what are the different tiers that Rev offers other than the enterprise?

[00:25:23] Speaker 1: Yeah, so we have our essentials. We have a free plan. So it's something that's free to sign up, no credit card needed. Really good to try it out. We also have our essentials and pros plans that are more of a function of, you know, go on, sign up, use it. It's not really going to be a very tailored process. And then on the enterprise plan, which is where a lot of the public defenders opt for, is additional security. So you can have HIPAA compliance on those accounts, CJIS compliance if needed. You can look at 500 files at once, unlimited storage and transcription. Then the really key part is going to be the account management side. So as I referenced in there today, you can have us tailor your prompts, tailor your workflows, and be that sort of person to guide you through the process across the year. So those are the main differences between those.

[00:26:14] Speaker 3: Perfect, thank you. And we did have two more questions come in as well. The first one is along the lines of pricing, would you also have pricing for court-appointed investigators?

[00:26:28] Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, if it's associated to a public defender's team, that's something we can help with. It's definitely an area along the lines of public defenders that we hear that need. So yeah, feel free to reach out. Obviously, my contact information is on the page. But yeah, we can definitely work through those areas.

[00:26:46] Speaker 3: Awesome. And then we have two more. What is the max number of documents permitted in ProAccount?

[00:26:54] Speaker 1: Pro, I believe, is it'll be 10k minutes per month. And that cycles each month over and over again. So you'll get 10k at the start when you sign up, and then a month later, you're going to rush 10k. So it's based on the 10k minutes per month.

[00:27:08] Speaker 3: Perfect, thank you. Perfect, thank you. And then our last question is, I have a fear that a response will be incorrect. How do I overcome this fear?

[00:27:21] Speaker 1: Yeah, I think the key to that is the citations that come along with each of the answers that our AI outputs. So if you do have a fear across those answers, you can click on those cited sources, go back to the area, whether it's the body cam, the image, the PDF, it'll bring you right to that moment of why it's answering that. And then from there, you can verify the sources. Rev, in its entirety, it's never going to replace your thought or your expertise in these cases or in your job, obviously. It's just going to help pull you to the moments that are going to speed up your process, help you move effectively through these, and just overall help those workflows that you get with the caseload.

[00:28:08] Speaker 3: Awesome. Well, that concludes our Q&A. Thank you all for submitting your questions and joining this webinar. We will be sending a recording shortly after, so keep an eye out in your inbox. And if anything does come up and you have more questions, don't hesitate to reach out to Will. But thank you all again and have a good rest of your day.

[00:28:30] Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you so much, everyone.
