[00:00:01] Speaker 1: Today, we're excited to announce the release of Rev's new mobile app. Let's jump in. When you open the app, you'll land on your dashboard. Here, you'll see three tabs. Recordings, Files, and AI Chats. To start a recording, just tap the purple record button at the bottom. During recording, you can switch to live transcript to follow along in real time. Tap pause to take a break, or stop when you're done. If you lose your connection, the Rev app lets you know you're offline and keeps recording to your phone. When you're back online, it resumes syncing to your Rev account automatically. While recording, you can lock your phone without pausing or stopping the recording, and the Rev app shows your recording's progress right on your lock screen. When you tap stop, the recording saves to My Files and automatically starts transcribing. When the transcription is finished, you'll see a message letting you know your transcript is ready. You can turn off auto-transcribe in your app settings at any time. To rename a recording or move it to another workspace, tap the three dots next to your file. To open the transcript of a file, simply tap on the file itself. In the Transcript tab, you'll see the full transcript, broken out by speaker and accompanied with timestamps. The Summary tab is where Rev turns the conversation into something you can work from. To generate a different output, like a witness interview synopsis or an incident timeline, pick a template from the Templates tab. Rev builds it from the transcript for you to review. To find something specific without reading the entire interview, tap Ask AI and type a question, like, What did the witness say about the light? Rev answers from the transcript and shows which recording the answer came from, so you can check it against the source. To share a recording, tap the three dots in the top right, then tap Share. Invite specific people as viewers or editors. Or copy a link. Finally, the Files tab holds everything in your Rev account, the same files you see on desktop, organized by workspace. Tap a workspace to open it. Use Search to find a file by name. Or tap Upload to add an audio or video file from your phone. If you're using the old Rev app, download the new one from the App Store or Google Play and sign in with your Rev login. Your recordings and files will already be there. And that's everything for this update. We're always looking to improve the Rev experience, so drop any feedback in the comments and we'll see you next time.

Arow Summary
Rev introduced a new mobile app centered on recording, transcription, AI-assisted analysis, and file management. The dashboard includes Recordings, Files, and AI Chats. Users can record audio, view a live transcript, pause or stop recordings, continue recording offline with automatic syncing once reconnected, and monitor recording progress from the lock screen. Completed recordings save to My Files and can be automatically transcribed, with auto-transcription configurable in settings. Transcripts include speaker labels and timestamps, while summaries and templates can generate outputs such as witness interview synopses and incident timelines. Ask AI answers questions based on the transcript and cites the relevant recording source. Users can rename, move, share, search, and upload files, and access workspaces shared with the desktop experience. Existing users of the old app can download the new version and sign in to find their recordings and files already available.
