To do that, open your Firefly's dashboard, head to Settings, and open the Knowledge Base tab. This is where Sales Assist gets its intelligence from, your uploaded product information, FAQs, help articles, or internal playbooks. By default, you'll see a sales template knowledge base already created for you. Click Upload File and add your sales materials. Sales Assist supports PDFs, Docs, Excel, and HTML files. You can also paste a website link. Firefly's will crawl it automatically and extract relevant information for you, perfect for uploading your help center, support pages, or feature documentation. Once uploaded, click Save. You'll now see your files listed under the active knowledge base. If you'd like to create a custom one, click Create New, give it a name, and upload your files or URLs. You can maintain multiple knowledge bases. For example, one for product demos and another for enterprise FAQs. Now that your knowledge base is ready, it's time to go live. Sales Assist works across Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and all major platforms. Just invite Firefly's to the meeting and you'll get a Live Assist link in the chat to open the panel. Click that link to open your Live Assist panel. Inside the Live Assist panel, look at the dropdown in the top left corner. By default, it opens in General Assist mode. Just select Sales Assist. This switches your view to a mode optimized for sales conversations, where Firefly's will automatically pull answers from your chosen knowledge base as the meeting unfolds. If you have multiple knowledge bases, you can choose which one to use for this call. Click Edit beside the knowledge base field, select the one you want, and hit Save. Once selected, you're ready to start receiving AI-powered live suggestions. As your customer or prospect asks a question, Sales Assist instantly analyzes what they said, searches your uploaded content, and surfaces the most relevant answer, right there in the Live Assist panel. Can Firefly's integrate with their CRM to automatically log notes? Sales Assist immediately displays the answer pulled directly from your knowledge base.
