+1 (831) 222-8398Speaker 1: Hey everyone, today I'll be showing you how to set up Azure Speech Services for Chat.ai, a groundbreaking mod for Mount & Blade 2, banner lord that brings NPCs to life, using AI-driven conversations and actions. Before we dive in, if you haven't installed and set up Chat.ai yet, make sure to check out the setup guide linked in the description below. Azure is Microsoft's cloud computing platform and will be using its speech services for text-to- speech, TTS, and speech-to-text, STT capabilities. This will allow NPCs to actually speak their responses and understand your voice commands. First, head to the Azure website, link in description. You'll need a credit card and phone number to create an account. Don't worry though, new accounts usually get free credits or trial access. Once your account is created, look for the search bar at the top and type Speech Services. Click Create and select your subscription. You should have one from the account creation process. If not, you can create a new one. Create a resource group. The name can be anything you want. Choose your region location. Remember this for later. Set a name for your resource and select a pricing tier. You can view detailed pricing by clicking View Full Pricing Details. Click Review and Create, then Create. Wait for deployment. This usually takes a few minutes. Click Go to Resource and copy Key 1. Now let's configure Bannerlord. Launch the game. Go to Mod Settings. Select Azure as your voice backend. Paste your Azure key and region, if you want to customize NPC voices. Click the List of Voices button, find a voice you like, and copy its name into the male or female voice settings. Don't worry though, there are default voices already set up if you want to jump right in. That's it. Now your NPCs will speak using Azure's text-to-speech technology. If you run into any issues or want to connect with other players, join our Discord community. Link in the description. Thanks for watching and subscribe for more AI-related content.
Speaker 2: The lands of Vlandia are as familiar as the back of mine hand. How doth the journey fare for thee?
Speaker 3: Ah, Brun. Ye grace me with your presence. What brings ye to the shadowy corners of Sargat, this fine summer day? Be it coin or curiosity that guides your feet?
