Speaker 1: Hey there guys, in today's video, I'm going to show you how to build a survey in SurveyMonkey. I'll repeat, this is going to be a tutorial on how to create a survey using SurveyMonkey, which is a software, one of the most widely used popular survey softwares available. Step number one is to go over to SurveyMonkey.com, sign up for a free plan. They do have different plans that you can sign up for. I'll put a link in the description box. If you're going to be doing basic surveys, you're probably going to be able to get away with this cheaper one or else the free version. It kind of depends. And by the way, I'm just going to give you a quick walkthrough on just like the pure basics just to keep it super simple and just, you know, this is a tutorial after all. Step number one, let's go back over to the interface here. Over here in the right hand corner says create survey. See this over here? Or else you can click start from scratch. Let's just click over here, create survey. And all we want to do here is we want to start from scratch for a survey. Start from scratch, survey title. What are we going to name it? Let's just call this one survey number one and then click a category. Let's just do concept product and testing. So we'll do create survey. See it right there. Click that. And now it is going to comprise our survey. And this is the interface that we're going to be using to build a survey in SurveyMonkey. So this is page. So how this does is it breaks it up into kind of like different pages. This is the first page. And hopefully this makes sense. But you know, if you can choose to have multiple survey questions on each page. So just know that like if you're looking to just have one question per page that you need to do new pages for every question. Hopefully that makes sense. So let's just do question number one. What is your favorite color? Just to keep this super simple. And then what you can do here is you can choose what type of choices they can, the person filling out the survey can choose. You can do multiple choice. You can do checkboxes, star ratings. You can do all kinds of stuff here. Most of the time it's going to be multiple choice. And then what you're going to do is just start filling these out. So we're going to do the colors here, blue, red, yellow, and to add more options. What you can do over here is see these plus and minuses over here. You can keep adding more and more options. And then I'm just going to delete these because I don't need that many. So then to save this as a question, you can also do other things over here, like add a custom, give the option to add a custom field, none of the above, just click save. And we now have our first question in the survey figured out. So now what we're going to do here is we want to click a new page because I personally like to divide my surveys up into different pages. So then at the bottom here, it says new page. So just click that. And then you can title your page. You don't necessarily have to. Sometimes I'll do like page number two, but yeah, you don't have to. So new question, click on that, then add another question. What is your favorite city? How about that? It's just basic. All right. So it automatically gave me the option to do multiple choice. So what are some cities here? And this is literally how easy it is. Toronto, Minneapolis, it doesn't matter. How about we'll just do Dallas. But then what we'll do here is we'll just save this and I'm going to keep this super easy so it'll just be a two-question survey here. And again, guys, this is my SurveyMonkey tutorial on how to set up a survey using SurveyMonkey. Again, this is just super basic. So then what we're going to do is we're going to, and again, you can add all kinds of customizations when you come back here. I can edit this. If you have the paid version, you can actually click on logic and you can choose where you want to see. If a person chose blue, they could go to a different page of it. It gets pretty in-depth and complex. You can also add images. You can just bold text. You can add images. You can add videos. You can add lots of cool things just to let you know that. So we're going to save that. And then what we can do here is up here in this tab up at the top, this kind of shows us like the status of where we are with the survey. You can click on this preview and score resume. You can go through and kind of test it. So I'll just answer these and test it and then I am done. And yeah, so now at the top here, we can click on collect responses because that is the next step in the process. And now it asks us how we want to send it out because obviously we have created a survey. So now we want to send it out to people. So it gives us options, you know, click on send surveys your way. You can post it on social media. You can share a survey link. You can embed it in a website. You can send it by text. Some of these, you have to have the paid version embedded in a mobile app, but yeah, guys, this is super simple. If I click on share a survey link, this is going to comprise the link for me to share. I can copy it and then that's the link to share. It's that simple. So hopefully this video helped you learn how to use and create a survey using SurveyMonkey. This is my tutorial on SurveyMonkey. All right, guys, hit me up in the comments. I will answer all your questions. Please feel free to subscribe. I will see you in the next one. All right. See you.
