Speaker 1: So we're going to get started by creating a new file or session. We're going to select Tracks, Audio Recorder, then Voice. From there, make sure Studio is selected in the center of the screen. And from here, we're going to click the icon in the middle. Lead Vocals is normally on, but I'm going to select Radio Ready because I like that preset for what we're going to do as a podcast. And you can choose what you want to use. You can use whatever it is that you like. You can play around with that. And to hear yourself do that, you can turn on the monitor. Now, what you're going to hear from me today is not recorded live, so the audio and even the levels that you're seeing right now aren't the levels you're hearing from my voice. Once you've selected, press Done, and then turn off the metronome so you don't hear those clicks while you're recording. Go over to your settings, click that, go into the metronome settings, and turn the count in off, but leave visual count in on. So this will allow you to see your count in, the one, two, three, four, but not hear it on the recording or in your headphones. It's a little annoying and unnecessary for what we're doing here. So once you've set that, you're going to get out of that window and press Record. Today is brought to you by, well, no real sponsors because I don't currently have any. The TNA Sobjects, that was a bad take. Let's undo that. Today is brought to you by, well, no one. I don't have any sponsors yet, but if you want to help me out with that, I sure appreciate it. Today's podcast is all about, well, I don't know. Guess you're going to have to listen to find out. Let's get into it. So go ahead and stop your recording, click on the Tracks view, check to see that everything's recorded and okay, and then once you've done that, you're going to go in the upper right-hand corner of the ruler, press the plus sign, and make sure that the Bars is set to Automatic. Just to make sure everything stays nice and clean and neat, then go back, and from there, we are going to hit the Loop Browser. Now here's where you're going to get your little intro music. I've already recorded some audio, and it's in my file, so I'll take that prerecorded audio and drag it into my session by clicking and pulling it onto a new track and placing it specifically where I want it. Now you can literally just adjust it and pull it where you want it to go physically, and you can do this by pressing and dragging or clicking and dragging, whether you're using a mouse or not, and I'm going to put it right where I want it, and once I have it there, I'm going to play to see if it's lined up right where I want it, and I'm going to most likely fast-forward through this section so you don't have to watch the adjustment process, and you can zoom in and out by pinching. Today's brought to you by, well, no one. I don't have any sponsors yet, but if you want to help me out with that, I'd sure appreciate it. Today's podcast is all about, well, I don't know. Guess you're going to have to listen to find out. Let's get into it. You get the idea. It's an audio loop after all. So once you've done that, what you're going to do is take your playback head and pull it all the way to the end of that audio file you've drug in so that you can start recording the rest of your podcast from there. So place the audio head where you want it and then press record. Now make sure before you do that that you have the recorder track or the vocal track selected so that you're not recording over the audio you pulled in. And there you have it. Notice that there's spoken audio on that one track and music audio on the other. Now from here, you're going to be doing some editing. You're going to adjust levels. You're going to adjust the length of your track, and you're also going to place things right where you want them. So for the sake of time and for your own sanity, I'm not going to go through this process painstakingly long, but notice how it's zooming in and out. You just press and hold on the track to get it to do that. So I'm going to place it where I want it, and then we're going to listen to the final product at the end. Today's brought to you by, well, no one. I don't have any sponsors yet, but if you want to help me out with that, I'd sure appreciate it. Today's podcast is all about, well, I don't know. I guess you're going to have to listen to find out. Let's get into it. ♪♪♪ Hey, everyone. It is your host, Cole Young. I am glad to be here with you today. I want to say shout-outs to all my fans and all the people that are faithfully listening to this podcast. That is not real, at least for the time being. And that's basically it, folks. Once you've gotten the podcast the way you want it, you'll go back out into the beginning screen, and you're going to click on your file and rename it because you don't want it to be My Song 37. Once you've called it what you want to call it, in my case, it's going to be My Fake Podcast or Fake Podcast. You're going to get ready to share the file. Now, you may want to share it if it's ready to go and ready to post somewhere. You're going to share it as a song. But if you want someone else to edit it, you're going to share it as a project.
